I had my liposuction with J-Plasma on my arms, chin, and belly at BHT Clinic Istanbul with Dr. Murat, and overall my experience has been very positive.
I chose Dr. Murat after reading many reviews online and seeing his work on social media. What really stood out to me initially was how quickly and clearly the team responded via WhatsApp and social media, which made me feel confident even before arriving in Istanbul.
From the first consultation, Dr. Murat was very honest and realistic about my expectations. He clearly explained what was possible and what wasn’t, which I really appreciated. That level of transparency helped me trust him completely.
The team around him was amazing. A special thank you to nurse Sena, who was absolutely spectacular—so kind, attentive, and always checking if I needed anything. Also, Ayyuce was incredible throughout the whole process. She speaks good English and was always available to answer my questions quickly, even in the evenings. Her support made a huge difference, especially being in a different country—it gave me real peace of mind.
Communication overall was good before and after surgery. While some hospital staff don’t speak English fluently, we managed perfectly using translation apps, so it was never a real issue.
The hospital itself was very clean and well-organized, and I felt well taken care of both before and after the procedure. One small area for improvement would be the food options—especially for vegan patients. During recovery, proper protein intake is very important, and I think offering more plant-based protein options would make a big difference.
My recovery is going well so far. The first 3 days were the most challenging, but that’s completely normal for this type of surgery. I’m still in the recovery process, but I’m already very happy with the results. Pain management was handled well with medications and injections. I did experience some discomfort from the drain, which felt like it stayed in a bit long, but I was informed this is part of the normal process.
Overall, I felt supported every step of the way—from pre-surgery to aftercare. The team truly cares about their patients, and that shows in how attentive and responsive they are.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Murat and his team to anyone considering this procedure, especially if you’re traveling from abroad and need that extra level of communication and support.
