Amazing Experience and Fantastic Post Op Care!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for the care and treatment that I have received from ELITE MD. I am a 60 year old female, and I had Liposuction done on my arms 5 weeks ago. I have been very pleased with not only the surgery, but the care that my doctor and the staff have given me from Day 1. I had my initial consultation with Tricia, who is delightful. She was so approachable and friendly as she thoroughly explained the procedure and anticipated recovery. I have vacation plans that include scuba diving, so I wanted to ensure I would be ready for that adventure, with no lingering ill effects from the surgery. Tricia was so helpful in addressing my concerns, and even in expediting my surgery and follow up appointments. My husband and I met with Dr. Desvigne, my surgeon, who educated both of us on the specific areas of my body he would be working on, explaining to us the length of the incisions and the expected outcomes. He was both informative and reassuring. His demeanor is straight forward, kind and compassionate. The perfect blend for me. I felt safe and that I would be in very competent hands. As we were meeting with Cassie, another fabulous staff member, Dr. Bansal came in to meet with us. He was also very informative and reassuring. My fears about the procedure and recovery were addressed. My surgery went amazingly well. All of the staff were friendly, caring and compassionate. Derilyn, Marisol, Tricia, Cheryl, Cassie all checking in on both myself and my husband before and immediately after the surgery. Dr. Desvigne even called my husband later that night to check in on my status. I had a little scare a few days after the surgery, where I felt pain in my left calf. I had read the instructions from the team and this was one of the areas highlighted that I was supposed to look out for. But of course, I wanted to dismiss this as just a muscle cramp. But I knew based on the instructions the team sent me home with, that I had better at least call them. Dr. Bansal was amazing! I explained my situation, and that I wasn’t really worried, and definitely not excited about the prospect of waiting in ER at Kaiser. Dr. Bansal was adamant that I go. He said he considered me part of his family. And that all patients that go to Elite are considered part of the family, and he was telling me to do what he would tell his sister or mother to do. So, I went. Dr. Bansal even called ahead and informed the ER nurse of my impending arrival. Although I did not get any expedited treatment, at least they knew who I was and that my doctor was wanting to see test results to ensure I had no blood clot. The results came back negative and I headed home. But, I felt reassured that I did the right thing by going to ER, even though I didn’t want to. It was truly Dr. Bansal making me feel valued and cared for that pushed me out of the house. I have had weekly lymphatic massages by Rema. She is excellent! She is so easy going, friendly and professional, I don’t mind the 45 minutes it takes to drive each way, to get her massages. The time goes by very quickly as she works hard to ensure I have no bumps or lumps resulting from the surgery. The staff at ELITE have made me feel like I truly am part of their family. Every time I go in, Ashland welcomes me with a smile, Tricia checks in to see if I need anything and wants to know how I am progressing, and of course Rema works her lymphatic massage magic. I am so grateful for the professionals at ELITE. I am so pleased with the surgery done by Dr. Desvigne. I can’t express enough gratitude to the entire ELITE staff for their continued after care. I know I am just one of their many patients, but they make me feel seen and taken care of. Thank you.
