2 1/2 month’s update
$4,000
It’s been awhile since my last update. What’s different? No longer taking any supplements. No longer wearing compression garments (too much of an hassle at work). Losing inches (I don’t measure, just going by the fit of my clothing. Minimal numbness to flank, have to search hard for areas. A little lumpiness noted. Still with some swelling. Not happy with bulges at side esp right side but will wait it out. I’ve pretty much decided I need to put in the work in the gym and eat clean so that will be my plans for the next few months. 1st pic is day before. 2nd pic is 2 days ago.

3 1/2 weeks Post Lipo
It’s been awhile but I wanted to just do monthly updates. Surgery was about 3 1/2 weeks ago. My late update I was in swell hell and still sore and miserable. i regretted the Lipo. Today I can happily report that the swelling has gone down significantly. Still swollen but tolerable. Soreness has decrease as well. I’ve return to work full time and also return to doing my cardio exercise 4X a week. Still no weight training because I also had an hernia repair so I need to not do any strenuous exercise.
Same supplements as before to decrease swelling. I never bruise at all so the Arnica did its job.
I’ve lost about 5-6 lbs but we all know it’s not about the weight loss anyway. Down 2-3 inches in the waist. Trying to eat about 80% clean.
Overall I am very happy with the front, I finally have a waistline. Back, not so much. Still see the bra rolls and I have a strange looking small bulge in the lower back. PS states I should be patient that what I am seeing is still swelling. He suggested I go down a size in the spanx. He is probably right, I haven't been able to tolerate anything below an XL (couldn’t breathe in them) until this week which is really not doing much for compression. Just switch to a large but should really be in a medium. I will work on that next week. So far, I still wouldn’t tell anyone to do it. The recovery is long and you don’t see full results for months. At my size probably should just get a personal trainer. I may be singing a different tune in 6 months. That’s all for now.
Overall cautiously happy.

Also belly button is somewhat scarred because I had an allergic reaction to neosporin antibiotics ointment. Took a week to figure it out, once I did, it healed so be careful about putting ointments on your incision.

You look really good! I think everyone is different and the body is so amazing on how it heals and changes. I was much better after a week. But you definitely start feeling down and ask yourself why in the world did I do this. But its all worth it. I am super happy with my results. I am trying to eat clean as well, but its so freaking hard. I love food! But happy healing!

Eureka
I think I’ve gotten through the worse of the pain and swelling. Today is the first day since my surgery that I’ve felt like myself. I went to the gym and did a moderate elliptical workout for about 20 mins and it felt awesome to get back to exercising. Can’t wait to take it up a notch. I know the body I want will be created in the gym. Lipo was just to give me that extra push.
I’m still taking Tylenol and Advil for pain. Getting my lymphatic massages. Taking bromelion and arnica. Trying to take in as much water as possible.
I’m still swollen so I’m not seeing the drastic changes that I’d noticed on post op day 2. However I tried on some clothes that I couldn’t wear before and what a difference. Love what I see so far. I’ve lost 6lbs since the surgery. Just wanted to let everyone know to hang in there. Seems like the 2-3 weeks mark is a turn for the better as far as the pain.
I’ll post pics when I see a difference.

I understand what you mean....i got pretty sad bc I've been swelling now more than the day after surgery. We have to both hang in there and just know around April we are going to be smiling ear to ear about our results! It's gonna be all worth it in the long run.
