So it's been exactly 2 months and 2 weeks since the surgery. I do notice a difference in my arms and my thighs however I am still very swollen no noticeable difference in my midsection or back.
I went to the doctor two weeks ago she said I was very swollen and that sometimes individuals take 3 to 6 months to start noticing any difference and just to bear with her because we are in this journey together and technically she would like me to see the work that she did so it's kind a like we're in it together.
My weight has fluctuated between 194 and 198lbs. I have been working out 3 to 4 days a week eating mainly protein, drinking lots of water. I've did some yoga, only one or two massages and the sauna, still feel very puffy and numb in all of the areas treated

Sorry your recovery is feeling slow . Unfortunately those fist six weeks seem to drag by. You have to trust your surgeon and try to stay positive. You're still early on in the healing process and it is definitely a process! Try not to focus on it so much. Take pictures weekly then after 3 or 4 weeks compared your pictures. I am positive you will start to see a difference. It's hard to see changes when you're looking at yourself ...Every. Single. Day... so taking pictures can really help you "see" the changes happening. Good luck! Hang in there! I am positive you will see changes very soon. ()Hugs!()

So I went and had the rest of my stitches removed and actually seen the doctor for my post-op. she says I’m still very swollen that I’m looking the way that I really should look. I was released to start exercising and I should follow up in a month at that time would start looking at my weight but I have basically five months before she’d be able to see the final final results. i’m wearing my compression garment it has gotten loose I’m in a size large I’m not wearing it on my arms but my bruising is going down. I still feel swollen especially around my waist and tummy area & inner my thighs. I almost feel the way you feel when you take depo and you feel really fluffy like not fat but really fluffy.

Hey ladies it’s been exactly 2 weeks since my liposuction surgery. I wanted to post some new photos and let you know that I am down to 193 pounds I’ve been doing keto and drinking lots of water. I even had one massage and I’ve done a lot of walking, no gym!
I can tell a slight difference in my inner thighs my arms my flanks & my abdomen not really any change in my back fat rolls which was my number one reason for having the procedure done. I see the doctor next week on the 27th I’ll post to update at that time.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience and especially with pics. I wish you continued healing and I do hope your results continue to improve as I'm sure they will. My body type is a lot like yours. My 1st PS consult was ok just doing Lipo similar to what you got. But my 2nd PS consult would only do the TT with Lipo to flanks and back. He said based in what I wanted I would not be happy with just Lipo without a TT. I'm still gonna get 3rd opinion, probably with a female PS before I commit one way or the ofher.

Thanks for the support! I felt that the female surgeon was at least willing to do lipo w/o the TT. My other consults recommendation lipo+breast lift or lipo+TT, I agree that combining any additional procedure will get you maximum results but 1) I didn’t have all the $$$, 2) I can’t afford to take off 2-4wks, 3) I didn’t have anyone who could take that time off to assist me...so I did what I could to just get started...I’ll still to get the lift and TT...there’s phases to all of this! Good luck
