Liposuction of the Love Handles, Outer & inner Thighs, and Hip Dips Fat Grafting
ORIGINAL POST
Liposuction of the Love Handles, Outter&inner Thighs, and Hip Dips Fat Grafting
WORTH IT$9,100
Hi Everyone!
It is finally time for my part 2 of the Mommy makeover. This phase will include a breast augmentation ( I will do a separate post for that ), as well as the liposuction of my love handles, inner & outter thighs smart lipo, as well as fat grafting to the hip dips.
This liposuction part is $9100. ( lipo of the flanks, inner&outter thighs and hip dips ).
When I had my tummy tuck, the doctor did the liposuction of the flanks already and I saw a great improvement. However he couldn't take too much all at once. My thighs have always touched each other on the inside, no matter how much weight I lost or didn't loose.
I am 133.6 lbs at the moment, hoping to be 131/130 lbs by Tuesday. I am on a liquid diet at the moment, and think that it will be achievable?
Smart lipo is a regular liposuction combined with special lasers that will heat up and shrink the skin to tighten it. This is very important for the inner thighs as our skin is naturally thinner there, and they cannot just take out unlimited amount of fat as we would have a lot of loose skin leftover.
Combination of these procedures should give me a more hourglass figure. This is my before, and I will update after as soon as I am able to:)
The total liposuction/fat grafting will last about an hour. The fat that they suck out from my love handles/thighs will be purified ( he used a special term, but in a sense purified ) and injected back into my hip dips to smoothen them out.
I will be given a special lipo garment to wear. The worst part will be sleeping on my back for at least 3 weeks ( I despise sleeping on my back, but, we have to do what we have to do...). The new fat is moldable so he wants me to exclusively sleep on my back not to "squish" it for a few weeks, so that it wouldn't change the shape. Also, I will have to wear the lipo garment for 4 weeks and take it on and off every day 2-3 times per day, just to make sure that there are no lines getting indented into my "soft newly grafted fat". They also want me to wear looser clothing for the first few weeks for the same reason, so that I don't get any clothes' lines indentation in my skin.
I am a realtor, and my only loose clothing are home sweatpants and two pjs I bought for the surgery. I cannot quite go out and show homes in sweatpants, so I will somehow have to get creative with clothing. If anyone has any clothing ideas, please let me know! :)
I was given the exact same 6 medications that I had for plastic surgery.
An opioid pain killer
Antibiotic
Muscle Relaxer
Nerve pain medicine
Stool Softener
Nausea Medicine
I will be coupling lipo with breast augmentation, cannot wait to see how it all turns out - hopefully it will be great! Hope you are all doing well and staying healthy and happy! :) :) :)

Liposuction/fat injections to the hip dips post op day 2
Hi Ladies!
This is the post op day 2 of my second phase of the Mommy makeover. :)
I had lipo first time around around my love handles. Now I had additional love handle lipo, inner/outter thigh lipo, and fat grafting to the hip dips. I told the surgeon that I desire a more hourglass figure.
He told me ahead of time that I will be very swollen after lipo, and that final results may take months to show! That it will just keep getting better each day. It is true! Day 2 looks already better than day 1, even though I am still very swollen. I can already see that my thighs have a little gap and are not touching, and that my figure is more hourglass, so that is very encouraging! The smart lipo laser dots are there too, but they thankfully don't itch or hurt.:)
He said that the swelling will go down to my tummy, and then may even to my vagina ( like with the Tummy Tuck ), as well as that it would be in the inner/outter thighs, hips at first and than it would go down.
It was a bit discouraging seeing my otherwise now flat tummy get swollen, but I know it is normal, and just need to give it time for the fluids to exist my body. I am still 6 lbs up like I was on the surgery day.
When I compare my last lipo experience with this one ( last one was just around the love handles ) - this one is definitely more painful. I should say sore actually. My flanks aren't sore except if I push on the skin, but otherwise I don't feel any soreness. However my thighs get sore every time I sit/lay on them. The pain is definitely not unmanageable, but it is there. However, I truly cannot complain. I have no drainage of any kind. We just removed my bandages/gauze as instructed from the lipo/breasts, and everything looks beautiful. No blood smears, or anything, really clean.
Excited to see the progress over the upcoming weeks! :) I attached the lipo garment ( the black "leggings" ). It is not uncomfortable at all, and not made out of itchy material, so it feels nice. I prefer not to have it on of course, so that I can just wear regular clothing, but since I have to wear it for a while, it is good to know that it is at least not bothersome. :)

Hi Eileen!!! I am so happy they are helpful! I plan to do a side by side before and after, when some of my swelling goes down. Other than swelling I have no discharge, all of my surures are extremely clean.:) Last time my bruises lasted for about a week, so I think they will to away relatively quickly again:):):)

I already notice the improvement in my hip area and it being more hourglass, and there is a little gap in my thighs too, outter thighs are pushed in too. Cannot wait to see it all heal and become even better!:):):)

Great! So how is the lip pain now ?

April 24, 2020
Good morning! Today I am 3 days post op, not much pain is there. Just soreness really, more uncomfortable than painful if that makes sense. I would say my pain is about 3 out of 10 for lipo without any pain meds. When I take pain meds, no pain. It hurts me/it is sore the most when I get up (after not moving all night) or when I sit down or switch positions. I don't feel it at all other times. Did you get lipo itching? My doc said some patients itch when healing from lipo. That happened to me the first time too, around days 3,4 my skin became itchy for the following 3,4 days until the bruises were gone. I would just put vitamin E/calamine lotion and it would go away. No drainage from my cites, super clean. The littls sutures are so clean and put well, I don't think I will have any scars afterwards it seems. Swelling wise, my scale still says I am the same number after I came home with after surgery (after surgery I gained 6lbs that same day)-I am still at the same number. Yet my lipo keeps looking better today too! Doc says my swelling will move around until I finally pee it.:) Can't wait!:) I honestly think that these prescription anti inflammatories that the doc prescribes help the swelling greatly and that it doesn't stay as much in your body due to it. Granted it may just be in my head that it helps, but I feel it does.:) Would do this again if needed, the soreness is truly manageable. I am just excited to see the final results and cannot wait! I am sure you will habe an outstanding experience as well!!!:):):)

Thank You So Much Beautiful Friend! I am excited to fully heal and then to compare the before the Tummy Tuck photos and final ones. Yikes that will be so strange to see, but also great to see the huge difference! I just recently looked at my tummy pre op, and cannot believe that was me. :O The plastic surgeon said they will also give me the photos they took of me pre op, so I can have those too for comparison. I am SO happy to have been able to do this, and all the saving is definitely worth it!!! :) :) :)

Hi Beautiful Eileen!!!! I hope your soreness goes away soon!!! :) My lipo soreness went after week 2 last time, hope this time too. :) I showed the home yesterday, today I am showing 2 homes, and no problem walking whatsoever. :) When I bend down ( to pick something ) I can feel tightness or soreness in the back of my thighs, but it isn't really all that painful. I don't need a pain med for it if that makes sense. I tried to walk as much as I can right away, to move the swelling but also to move around for as I noticed my biggest soreness was when I didn't move and then suddenly got up.
One of my friends that had lipo of the flanks also said she was in pain ( she did a procedure in Mexico ) for a few weeks. I am not sure is it the way my doctor does it, or what is the difference, but this procedure for me is truly so manageable. Perhaps because of those anti inflammatory meds? It does provide ugly bruising but the bruises go away, so I don't even pay attention to them really. Day 3 - just a bit sore when moving or after being still, but no need for pain meds for lipo. I still take them due to my breasts, but if I just had lipo I think I would only take them at night, so that they knock me out so that I can sleep on my back haha ( I hate hate hateee sleeping on my back ). I cannot wait till you have it done too, so that I can read your updates!!! :) :) :)

Post op Day 6!
Hi Ladies!
Here are my photos from day 6 post op! The bruising is in full swing, but it is already becoming more green yellow and will start fading soon! The smart lipo dots are looking better already. :)
I am still very swollen in my lower part, although I noticed that my lower tummy swelling is improving ( please see the pics attached ) and I also dropped 2 lbs on the scale from day 2 compared to day 6. I am still 3 lbs heavier than I am going into surgery, so still have some swelling.
Overall the lipo doesn't really hurt nor is it sore on day 6 unless I really sit in a weird position. I still have to wear the lipo garment all the time until my post op on May 4th at least. I am noticing my waist/hips is more and more hourglass every day, which is really really nice!!! :) :) :)
Hope you are all having a great day!!! :) :) :)

Hi. You look great n seems u had a fantastic journey. Could I ask a few questions pertaining to the skin care n meal prep ideas you had used ??

I know it's been some time since your surgery, but I am curious was it worth filling in your hip dips & did it last? I had MM 3 weeks ago & have been wishing I would've done my hips also, but have heard it doesn't always last. And honestly the thought of doing lipo again is daunting lol. You look fantastically btw!
