Lipo abs 360 and thighs

ORIGINAL POST

Lipo abs 360 and thighs

Pics are before and 1 week post op. I have hypothyroid and have one t the gym 4-5x/wk and decided to do this procedure b/c nothing was working. In fact, I had gained 8% body fat in 3 years even when I went to the gym and have had 2 personal trainers.
Surgery was maybe 2 hrs? I have to sleep at a 45 degree angle. It's not the worst pain I've had but it's not fun either. Hardest part is getting on the toilet, getting back up and getting up from sleeping. Now, I may take 1 pain pill a day but if I don't need it, I won't. I walked my dog just a little today (def not the normal 2-3 miles). That won't happen for awhile. I still wear my compression garment all the time and get my stitches out in 2 days. The annoying part is the itches! Site of stitches and where I've been bruising.

Response from Dr. Lawton:
Excellent description of the first week with its limitations and positives. The itching will get better after the are sutures out, and at one month when you start to see your clothing fits better and you are allowed to cardio, you will really begin to feel better. Final results take around 6 months.

Good luck with your recovery :) It will take about 3 months until most of the swelling goes down, and around 6 months to see all the fine details.. just letting you know since i had no idea! I hope you have a great result. The first 2 weeks were the hardest, probably also because of the anesthesia.
Did you get traditional lipo or laser lipo? Do you feel like it was worth it? I'm debating on getting inner thigh lipo
Hello! Did you decide on Lipo or laser?
You look great! Where did you get stitches ?! I thought lipo didn’t require any..
I got my liposuction procedure done in June. I see a difference. I still have a ways to go and for my six months. I see some difference but not satisfied yet. I'm numb in some spots and I'm afraid feeling won't come back. I did ask the doctor and his question to me was how much do you use that area? I was like oookay. I want to look good but also want to feel normal. The other thing I notice is we only see the doctor for consultation and the day of surgery. The rest of the appointments the staff take care of it. But I need to see him sometimes to ask questions. Last appt I requested him after they said I was done with my 8 min appt. I do believe he is good at what he does. Just wish he was more involved. It's more of ok let's get this done and good bye.
