Horrible experience
Lipo 360, J plasma
I am 2 weeks post-op. I went to Avana plastic surgery and Dr.Mamenskis was my doctor. I decided to get 360 lipo, lipo to my arms, and J-Plasma to my arms, and a fat transfer to my hips only. This has been an experience, I don't recommend anyone going to Avana. The customer service wasn't the best, pre and post-op were horrible. I was there for 3 hours for my pre-op and didn't see my doctor. Post-op was a joke, I had to demand to see my doctor and the medical assistants asked my name about 10 times. I will say Nelsy was the best, she was my massage therapist. I am still very swollen but I can finally see my shape coming in. My current measurements are 36-32-46. The goal is to get my waist to a 29 and everything else remains the same. My doctor lacked bedside manner, my arms look exactly the same but I am being told it can take 6 months to see results. I haven't seen any improvement, they're the same size they have been for two weeks now which is discouraging. I will keep you dolls updated.

3 weeks Post - Op
I am 3 weeks post op and feeling much better. I have more energy and I am not as sore as before. I still have lumps and hard spots and my measurements are still the same. I have been trying to contact Avana but I do not get a response. My arms are still the same size, they haven't gone done at all, I do not recommend anyone going to Avana. I honestly think they did not do my j plasma. Of course Dr. Mamenskis is saying he did but I have a hard time believing that. He actually forgot to mark my arms during my "pre op exam, the medical assistant had to remind him. I have horrible itching "lipo itch" my doctor wrote me a prescription for the itching which has helped.
Horrible experience
During my "pre-op" exam I was unable to see the doctor, I have had several surgeries and I have never experienced anything like this not to mention, I was there for over 3 hours. On the actual day of surgery, Dr. Mameniskis marked me up, and forgot to mark my arms, the medical assistant had to remind him. I specifically asked him did he think I was a good candidate for J plasma and he said yes. After surgery, I noticed my arms still had hanging, at post-op I was told "give it time" well 3 weeks later they are exactly the same, no difference. I paid a lot of money for my arms and they look worse than when I came. On the day of Post-op, I had to demand to see him and at that time he assured me he did perform J plasma, this practice is so unorganized and is bedside manner is non-existent. I have tried to get in contact with them, sent emails called and even sent a DM on instagram. They seem to respond to that but they do not call you back. My body does look nice but my arms, which were the most important look a mess. Oh, and he put two holes under my bra line when he performed liposuction so now if I wanted to wear a bikini you will see the marks. I had lipo done before, why didn't get to in where the last surgeon did? This has been a horrible experience, please listen to me...do NOT go to Avana!!!!
