The night and day after lipo

After peeing all the stuff out your body you start to slowly feel better. You have to make sure you get up every hour and have your compression socks on. That's so important because you do not want to swell up. I didn't sleep to well that night because I was trying to adjust to everything. Make sure you pack 2 shower curtains. I got mine from the dollar tree. 1 to keep in the car where you are sitting and the other on your bed so blood does not soak through the mattress cuz let me tell you l, you gonna have blood everywhere!!!! I was soaked in blood and the smell was not very pleasant lol. I packed those glade fresheners also... 3 of them. 1 in the room area, 1 in the kitchen area and 1 in the bathroom. We have to be here for 7 days so make sure you make it feel like home. 1st night was super uncomfortable because you got these boards on along with the faja. And you sleeping on some slippery ass shower curtains. It was painful to toss and turn so try to find your comfortable spot.
My appt for post op was at 230 and my massage was at 330. I didn't even get to have a post op yet because it was that busy. So I went downstairs for my massage. Once I got downstairs I had to wait another 45 minutes until I got my massage. I recommend scheduling the 2nd appt of the day cuz the first they never open on time and than they don't have stuff ready when you go. My massage lady was literally on her phone and I had people pop their head inside my room so many times I've lost track. Everyone that works there is on their phones 24/7! You'll see when you get there. Really unprofessional but she was great at massages. I was reading the reviews on the massages and I was super scared before going in because I thought they were super painful but it really wasn't bad. My lady was the one on the far left and was the last door. I kept reading reviews on her and I booked her my entire time there with new life. She drains the hell out of you. I always felt better after my massages. Just remember to pop that pain medication before you go in.
Once that was done I went back upstairs and was taken in right away... and if your thinking you will see your dr again think again. You see a nurse. She gives you paper for work, medical clearance and flight stuff. She also goes over things you need to know and also do. She's very informative but it almost feels like she i reciting lines to you that she said all day lol.
Next I left the place and waiting for my nurse to come back. Finally I got to shower!

Lipo 360

I had lipo 360 done with DR HARRY INSIGHTFUL aka Dr Slimthick. Let me tell you this procedure and process has been a freaking journey!!!! I worked with Lisette in the beginning and she was awesome. She tried to answer and respond as quick as she could. She was there to help. However my coordinator Yuli Crus was the freaking worse in history there! She never responded to any messages. Or she just have a smart ass remark to things as if she was all that there. Had me doing last minute labs like 2 days before my trip while she had all my info for a month. She was super unprofessional. If you get her as a coordinator ask to see if there's someone else that you can go through. I love my doctor but he seriously needs to get a new gal with a better attitude and is looking out for patient and trying to help them as much as they can. Let me start by saying new life is seriously crazy busy. There's not a day that I went and didn't have to wait over 30 minutes that's including the massages also even if you had a scheduled time. I was scheduled to go in at 830 am to do my pre op and was scheduled at 1030 am the same day. My name did not get called until 230 to go in the back. Than they make you pee in a cup to make sure your clean than take your vitals. After that she put me in a small office had me change into my gown and waited for Dr Harry an hour later to come mark me up. He walked in with a smile. Nice guy overall. Asked me what my problem areas I wanted gone and really listened to why I wanted. Very informative and answered every question I had. Once he left I waited another 45 minutes for the anesthesiologist to come in and ask me questions. I don't remember his name but he was a younger guy, super nice and very informative as well. Once that was done he walked me into the surgery room. It was freezing cold and they had me lie on this metal table. They strap you down and start putting the anesthesia in you. I remember talking to everyone and dr Harry and literally I was out in seconds. Next thing I knew I woke up super cold, in soooooo much pain and just shaking because it was that cold! The nurse didn't seem to care to much all she kept saying was my name and stop moving! I kept telling her I was cold I need blankets or something. She still didn't do anything. Than a little bit after my anesthesiologist came to check up on me and he was the one who went and grabbed me more blankets than gave me this vacuum thing that blew out hot air. Thank god for that man! I was in the recovery room from what I remember prob 30 minutes. I have to say the pain was soooooo bad! I had 4 kids. 2 vaginally and 2 c section but this pain did not compare to that at alllllll! After that I was wheelchaired out and my husband was outside the doors waiting. My nurse and him took me out to the car and all I remember feeling was super wet... meaning blood was dripping everywhere. The car ride back to the hotel felt like hours when it was 12 minutes away. I took 2 pain killers right when I got in the car and still I did not feel it kick in until 2 hours later. I'm telling you this pain was something else. My nurse got there 30 minutes later. Ladies book your nurse through Jai! Her team is awesome! My nurse kept telling me to keep drinking fluids... like every 10 minutes I would drink a bottle of something and I'm telling you the more you drank the better you'd feel! You want to pee out all the stuff they pumped in you! My nurse was super awesome. She cleaned up my hotel, made me soup, washed my stuff, did my dishes and even played with my kids! If I can give her 10 stars I would.
