I haven’t been taking many photos because the swelling is still quite present. But I’ve started to see quite a difference in my in the thighs and knees, per photo below. The recovering has been okay, each day is better but the swelling comes and goes. I have been getting a lymphatic drainage massage every other day. And I do the self in lymphatic drainage massage every day, as well as use the massaging gun every day for 20 minutes on each leg. I wore the compression garments for three weeks, 24/7. And now I’m only wearing it at night, and will continue to until week six post op. I haven’t had any pain, only some discomfort and a little bit of pain during the first weeks during the massage. Either than that I haven’t really had to take any pain medication. I have noticed though that my very regular period is late this month, I have been reading about it and apparently it’s pretty common to happen after such trauma.

Cannot recommend Dr Chen enough. Although my procedure was only done last week and it’ll be sometime before I see results, I just wanted to say that I appreciate the careful follow up, the friendly staff, and after care provided.
