You Gotta Read About my Surgeon!!! Dr. Minniti
WORTH IT
Wow. I am not only in love with my results but I’m also so impressed with my entire experience working with Dr. Minniti, his surgical team, and office staff. They are incredible!!!
I had a friend who had her breasts done by Dr. Minniti years ago and they always looked great/she was very very happy. So I told myself I’d get mine done too someday and definitely check out her doctor. I started following Dr. Minniti and his team on Instagram and over the years loved his content: honest, to the point, he clearly cares about his staff and patients, and the results spoke for themselves! Just incredible transformations of people every day and he prides himself on not photoshopping his after-pictures (which I found out lots of even other prominent surgeons do unfortunately) I grew to appreciate the whole team over years of the occasional Instagram scroll through his page.
The day finally came for me to schedule my consultation with Dr. Minniti. It was super easy to reach the office and everyone there is pleasant and prompt. Ariana took care of my consultation (she is fantastic, organized, genuinely cares about you as their patient, and very easy to talk to by the way). There is a small consultation fee that goes toward the cost of your future surgery and that is normal. A consultation with a reputable surgeon for this big of a life change should not be free lol... you can get free *advice* from your friends or real self. An experienced surgeon is going to need to speak with you addressing lots of information, analyze your body carefully, and discuss options. That takes time and the only doctors who have the time for free consultations are ones who don’t have enough clients to begin with. Scheduled my consultation for about a month out due to his busy schedule (a busy doctor is another good sign) Consultation with Dr. Minniti was awesome - just as I wanted and as all plastic surgeon patients should want... he addressed my needs, wants, don’t-wants, Q&A, body assessment, and he was direct with his information. I was excited for him to sculpt my new body!
Pricing was as I expected it to be for a top notch surgeon in Beverly Hills. Dr. Minniti’s pricing is competitive amongst other high end surgeons. You get what you pay for in plastic surgery and that extends not only to the quality of the surgeon but also the entire process: your time leading up to surgery, your results, your after care, your pain management in recovery, your post op appts, your peace of mind, all of it. I surely didn’t want to skimp on any of that and I’m glad I didn’t!
I opted to have multiple procedures done in one surgery so I could have one recovery for all of it at the same time. I had a breast lift and augmentation, Lipo in 4 separate areas, and fat transfer to booty. The days leading up to surgery I received personal phone calls from Dr. Minniti and my anesthesiologist Dr. Alexander addressing my pre surgery nerves and reassuring me of their game plan for success - just amazing patient care.
Surgery day: Dr. Minniti’s long time nurse Tracy prepped me for surgery. She is awesome, really knows what she’s doing, and is hilarious! She helped me relax so easily in the hour just before surgery. Dr. Minniti came to mark me up and I was so zen and happy because I had so much support from friends and his team leading up to that point that there were just no nerves. (One prescribed Xanax taken the night before surgery helped too! But mostly my months of support) I was so confident in him as he was marking me, it just felt good to have that complete trust in the person leading the sculpting of my body. Tracy walked me in to lie down, Dr. Alexander and Marcela arrived (Marcela is another fantastic, efficient, and caring nurse of the team whom I mostly saw in pre-op and post-op), and I was just so comfortable seeing the three of them there. A few breaths into Dr. Alexander’s mask and I was out. Surgery was over in the blink of an eye for me! Not for the team... it was a long one but I would’ve never known. I woke up comfortable in an amazing aftercare facility that Dr. Minniti also recommended called Serenity in Santa Monica. They were SO GOOD TO ME! Dr. Minniti also personally came by to tend to me TWICE during my three days there! I mean it just blew me away to be so well taken care of by everyone involved with this experience.
Recovery is no walk in the park especially for as much work as I had done. The easiest part of my recovery has been the breast lift and augmentation - I would definitely consider those procedures to result in the most comfortable part of my recovery. My breasts look/feel amazing already and I’m only one week post op!!! The Lipo is definitely the hardest part but with patience and a good doctor/whole staff like mine, your recovery will be made as easy as possible. It’s lookin like 4-6 weeks til swelling and bruising mostly subsides but that’s nothing compared to the years and years of enjoyment of a new shape/body. Recovery is especially made easy when I can always reach the office, (Samantha works the phones too and has always been really prompt, professional, and super sweet!) and when Ariana or Dr. Minniti are always there to answer my questions/help me navigate recovery.
I have another post op appt today with Dr. Minniti to check the progress. I only needed one small drain for extra fluids and we may even be taking that out today. I’m in my compression garment daily as is expected after this surgery. I will get my pre-op pictures from doctor ASAP ans post my post-op pictures that I have so far but will update with more further along my recovery!
Dr. Minniti and team are the winning combo of qualified, experienced, perfectionist, caring, and MORE THAN WORTH IT!!! Choosing them has been one of the best experiences of my life.
