I am sharing this honest review 1 year after my surgery to provide a perspective for others considering a similar procedure with Dr. Breitbart.
Pre-surgery measurements: Waist 29 1/4", Hips 40", Arms 13"
Post-surgery measurements: Waist 29 3/4", Hips 39", Arms 11.5"
Cons:
• Abdominal and flank results: The main reason I had my flanks treated was to achieve a smaller, more defined waistline, and that goal was not met. Based on my measurements, my waist did not decrease after surgery.
• Results relative to cost: The aesthetic change did not feel worth the cost. No one noticed a difference unless I explicitly pointed it out, and even then, the change was described as minimal.
• Scope of treatment in hindsight: Only the lower abdominal area was treated. After the procedure, another consultation suggested that treating both the upper and lower abdomen may have produced more noticeable definition.
• Post-operative follow-up: I did not receive a next-day check-in or follow-up call in the days after surgery, which I would have expected, especially after undergoing general anesthesia.
Pros:
• Scarring technique: Scar placement and healing have been very good. The scars are discreet and well concealed, particularly from the arm liposuction, with no visible unevenness.
• Arms showed improvement: There is a reduction in the size of my arms. The change is modest, but there is visible improvement compared to my pre-procedure appearance.
• Surgeon accessibility and communication: Dr. Breitbart was easy to reach when I had questions, and I appreciated having an in-person consultation where I did not feel rushed.
• Staff, facilities, and location: Office staff were polite and responsive when I reached out with questions or needed to discuss pricing. The facilities were clean, and having two office locations made it easier to stay local for the procedure and recovery.
