Left pic is before surgery and right pic is my wish picture that I photoshopped myself , I just had my arms and chin done and now I’m going in for my other areas which is a lot more painful and a lot longer procedure since I did it awake with lumiscent lipo . Only been 5 weeks since my last surgery I hope to look as good as my photoshopped pics when I’m done.

Post day 3
labunnieDecember 21, 2017
I took off my garment on end of post day 1 , that normally gives me about two days of garment wear for my skin to attach to my muscles and any drainage to complete . The incisions sites around my lower back were kept open for drainage . I did this last time with arms and chin only because I have major allergy hives issues and can’t stand wearing garments for too long and also the garment is way to small it digs right into my hip incisions which makes it hard to heal. I apply dragon blood on it twice daily and the first time I tried taking my Garment off was like the worst pain I felt , I eventually had to cut it off because that garment wasn’t coming off any other way . I went through a great deal of pain during my lipo awake procedure , it was more painful than arms and chin that I did 5 weeks ago bc the amount of time it takes to finish such large areas and there were so many areas he had to lipo and address especially when he got to the hip area , it was so much pain !! I’m not bruising today like I did with my last surgery , don’t know if it’s bc the back area is stronger and thicker than arms . But a great deal of swelling and getting out of bed is a real pain . Even rolling around from one side to the other is painful . Recovery so far hasn’t been easy but bc it’s my second time , I’m not too scared of it . Last time I was depressed on day 5 and even broke down in tears , this time I know what to expect and even though I have many incision sites , I know it will disappear once two weeks come around .

I had lipo on my arms, axilla, and flanks. Going back next year for my abs and hips. I don't need much, I just wanna look my best!

At 4 months, I started to like how I looked. I had tumescent lipo. So I had to give it at least that much time. From 4 months to a year.

I’m on day 4 I feel like I am getting bigger , did you have similar experiences where you got bigger than right after lipo ?
December 25, 2017
Right after lipo I saw very little change. I noticed that I started swelling more after exercising or physical activity.

Aren’t you supposed to wear the garment for weeks or months?
May 11, 2018
You definitely should but I couldn’t get my garment back on once I took it off , it was too painful and also I couldn’t sleep bc I’m super allergic to the fabric that tight on my skin , I breakout in hives and it’s already an itchy experience even with people with no allergies .

My before and after pics are insane
labunnieDecember 21, 2017
Obviously the bigger version of me is the before and the smaller version of me is after . The transformation has been so worth the pain I went through during awake lipo and I’m even patient for the recovery . It’s been hard to just lay around the house for the first two days and getting comfortable to sleep at night , I keep thinking am I laying on my incision sites and making it worse , and if I’m making my swelling get worse by keep switching sides to lay on . First night after the procedure I couldn’t eat anything , I remember I order room service at the hotel and I only took one bite of a sandwich and 1 fry and I almost puked it up . The next day was similar , couldn’t eat much , only baby bites of food and have to stop . Before surgery I was 155 pounds , after was 150, and then two days of not eating properly I am now 148.8. Finally I stop taking pain meds and the naseous meds and just only take my antibiotic twice daily . The other two meds killed my appetite and made me sick. I’m not in too much pain that I need the meds right now except I have to be extra slow and careful getting up and switching positions and even laying down . Actually walked down the stairs last night and that was bad idea bc of the vibration in my foot hurts my whole body even more . So end up taking elevator back up to my apt. The weird thing is all this odd laying positions is making my arms and chin heal worse . I’m starting to see more weird lumps on my chin when it was almost going down , now the sides are puffy and my right arms hurt more since having this second surgery . They were 5 weeks apart between my arms and chin to my hips , waist , back , axilla. The reasons I got them done so soon is bc nov and dec is the only months I have 3 weeks off from work on each month . I need all the days to recover . Ladies if u get these procedures done , u need plenty of rest , no less than 1 week. I mean u could go back to work in 3 days but you will be very unhappy . If u get your hips and back done , you will not be able to bend over , lift or carry anything , you will feel cold sweats , dizzy and even feel like your breaking your incisions . Trust me stay home as long as u can . Some of u say the pain isn’t bad for the procedure , if u were knocked out , then it should be a walk in the park , cause after it’s over , it’s not too bad , take your pain meds u should be fine , but if u were awake , it’s a different level of pain , more like level 13 ! Today I’m going to try to shower my lady parts only bc the rest of my body doesn’t need it . Trying on my old clothes gives me hope and makes me happy . It’s the best part of recovery since u can’t do much . Oh and also don’t wear anything with waist straps or spandex type stuff , anything that tightens at the waist . It hurts so much pulling dresses off of me with elastic bands . But still not where comparable to the small compression garment that I literally had to cut to take off me . It was making me see stars and Jesus !

You look great! Question, why weren't you knocked out during surgery? Also do you need lymphatic massage done as part of healing process?
December 21, 2017
the lipo is done awake so that I could see results immediately and if any parts need fixing it’s easier when you are awake , sometimes when u lay on the table like a dead fish it’s hard to see what still needs improving , my doctor does it awake and even make me tighten my muscles so he can really take out as much as possible . he doesn’t recommend massages said it would be a waste of money , so I just let my body heal on its own . honestly I wouldn’t be able to stand it anyway bc I’m so sore .

My doctor used local anesthesia too and he showed me how to massage myself.

You look great! I’m debating whether to do local or general as my surgeon is leaving it up to me to decide. How painful was the procedure and how long did it last?

It’s pretty painful and also I felt like he had to make more incisions bc I couldn’t tolerate the pain , if I were asleep maybe he can do what he needs and with less incisions to make me feel comfortable
