SX on Aug 5

ORIGINAL POST

Finished my necessary doc appt today!

Nus13
WORTH IT$4,500
Extra cost, $370 out-of-pocket for doc (primary care doc) included consult, basic check up, ekg, bloodwork and urinalysis. Results get sent directly to Dr. Moradian. Great doctor, he actually made me feel confident and comfortable about the procedure. This is my first time going completely under full anesthesia. He requested more blood work because I am a vegetarian and he was worried about my iron levels. Love him!
My doc recommended a facility to get my cheat X-ray, $35.
Both are in south Broward area.
Side note: June 11, 2020 I scheduled my sx for July 27, 2020. On July 10 (Friday), spoke with my coordinator and she emailed me the necessary documents to present to my primary. So, in this stage I was VERY lucky that my primary put me on the waiting list to get the necessary clearance.

Did your surgery get rescheduled too? I am also scheduled with him for the 27th of July and was told he is out of town so I got rescheduled
July 22, 2020
Yes, it did. I was offered to change date or have Dr. Manemescus perform the procedure. When is yours?
July 22, 2020
Likewise here! I chose to keep Dr.Moradian and bum it out with a later date unfortunately. Zasha or Paula or Maria weren't really sure when he would be back so they said the earliest would be the 10th so I chose that immediate date. Yours?!

Spoke with Paola, and Dr. Moradian has a family emergency...hoping all continues to be well with him and the fam. She confirmed everyone is safe and healthy. As an added requirement, I have to get Covid testing within 7 days of SX date.
They offered to keep my SX date, but with the Dr. working that day. Good to have an option.

I think you're gong to have incredible results based on your befores
July 28, 2020
Really? That's my concern. If my skin will look all wrinkly or not. I understand it would be wrinkly when bending down, but when standing...eek...we will see!

Yes I do. Your befores look much better than mine. The compression garment is supposed to help that. I'm going this morning for mine.
