Liposuction and fat transfer: 8 days post-op and pleased with the results.

Dr. Bachilo performed this procedure on me in March 2019. I am a 50-year-old female, 5‘4“, 170 pounds. Dr. Bachilo removed 10 L of fat, which is a very aggressive surgery. I felt comfortable with her, and asked her to push the limits, which she did. I spent the night in the hospital as a precaution as my blood pressure dropped and needed to be stabilized and monitored. Dr. Bachilo is excellent bedside manner. She checked on me several times during the day and night before I left. I am now 8 days post-op and pleased with the results.

I had full body liposuction—arms, legs, stomach bd hips. I look better than I have in years. I’m still overweight but now motivated to work off the rest. The liposuction created a sexy waist where I didn’t have one. I have a shape now! The fat transfer to my butt and breasts has maintained at least 70% of the transfer. I feel great and have been able to keep off some weight, finally.

The recovery time is no joke. You HAVE to wear the garments. You have to consider the after-procedure lymphatic massages. I don’t think I would’ve made it without my medical massage therapist. There IS discomfort and swelling associated with liposuction. Make sure you have your second phase garments ready also.

Dr. Bachilo has great bedside manner. She is so patient with me and all my questions. I will definitely go back to her again.
