Dream Body After LIPO and BBL

Dr.miles is a soft spoken, matter of fact, dry humored, sweet doc. Professional and very experienced with a great track record. I did a lot of research and I know you'll always find people happy and not as happy with ALL docs depending how many reviews they've got, but Dr.Miles results were great and 98% of them were 5 star reviews everywhere I searched. I absolutely recommend him for your dream body.

He listens to your ideas and knows how women want their bodies. He is in touch with the trends and listens to your desires. The meetings/chats with him were short, but you can have as many appointments as you request, he is very matter of fact and his time is precious, but he'll sit there and listen and answer your questions. Just be ready for the questions you have for him! I wrote all mine down every time.

Staff was friendly and will answer any questions you have (just ask). All the women that work there have had work done from him which speaks volumes of the trust they have with him.

I'm 2 months post op and love, love, love my results. I lost 7 inches off my waist and all that stubborn back fat that just never leaves!!

The first week was the worst, but everyday was consistently better. Day 2 & 3 was the worst. Mostly because the pain medication from the surgery wore off. But the pain medication you take after helps. Any pain is SOOOOO worth the results.

The pre-op and post-op instructions they email you are super helpful and i referred to them often. Anything I couldn't find there I would call for an appointment. Of course I also watched lots of lipo/bbl videos of peoples experiences too.

Felt more like myself after a week. but still no real heavy lifting for awhile (6weeks). After Lipo, your body (areas of lipo) feel like you had an extreme workout and your muscles feel sore. So it takes time to heal that feeling. Skin will feel strange for the first 6 weeks. Keep massaging daily and if you can get 2x weekly lipo massages, do it. The skin is a little tingly super sensitive and you can feel the liquid they injected (to dissolve fat/minimize vein size and saline) move under your skin. That will be there for about 4-6 weeks. Be patient with your healing!!

You definitely need someone to help you the first week with the leaking and changing bandages. I leaked for 6 days. my scars are minimal. and I still use scar ointment 2x a day.

PROS OF LIPO: You look amazing, everything fits better, you feel more confident etc. Better techniques these days. (I had lipo 12 years ago somewhere else and they took out, maybe 10% of fat from belly and I was not too happy about it). This time round, 95% of my belly was taken out and a HUGE visible difference from first experience right away.

CONS OF LIPO: be patient with your healing. It takes at least 6 weeks for lipo areas to feel normal again. Massaging helps. Do it daily!! Especially so you don't form lumps on your belly. Very important. You will need help first week! So if you have kids, get your partner or family member to commit to help you the first week.

PROS OF BBL: it looks natural and adds wonderful curves to your back side shape.

CONS OF BBL: Definitely the hardest part of my surgery was the inability to SIT for 6 weeks on your butt. I was able after 4 weeks to sit on it for 30 mins at a time. But sleeping on your belly and not being able to sit on your butt for that long was the worst part of the whole thing. Very annoying. Dinners, movies, office work etc is all sitting. I accommodated this by standing next to my partner at the bar when we went out and pretended I didn't want to sit. after 2 weeks I used the BBL pillow, but was paranoid of losing my butt so didn't really use it much.

Sleeping was awful. im a back sleeper. so tummy sleeping was not fun.

6 weeks later I got used to it!! Even now I sometimes roll on my belly to sleep.

Would I do BBL again? probably not. Sculptra may have been just as good (but more expensive). am I happy I did it? yes! I say that now after I can finally sit on my butt again. But if you asked me 2,3,4,5 week into it, I would say no.

But since this review is about Dr. Miles, I definitely recommend him! you won't regret it!
