New update after a while

This is how i am looking at 4 months post op. I definitely get very swollen still at the end of the day and i haven’t worn my faja in a month. I plan to start wearing it again soon but it’s too hot in Miami now for fajas lol.

3 weeks postop
Nothing has changed much, still swollen and sore. My skin is retracting really good, but i am getting marks from my ab board, any suggestions on what i can do to prevent that and what will help with my stretch marks?
I also went out for the first time with just my faja, no boards or foams.

What day did the draining stop ? I am booked in on a tuesday but back to work on the friday or monday

I stopped draining about 8 days later. I honestly dont think you’ll be ready to go back to work so soon. Good luck, i will be following your journey. Who is your surgeon?

I went to New Life for the first 5 massages and they were horrible. Now I go to A&E Med Spa with Arianna which is right next to New Life and she is amazing!

I wonder if they can give me credit for the 3 massages that come with the New Life Package off my so i can book with the spa you recommended

2 week update
At this point i am mostly not in pain. I do feel some discomfort when getting in and out of the car, getting up from my bed, picking up something from the floor and things like that.
I have a 9 month old babe and a 6 year old son so you can imagine this hasn’t been easy. My husband has been my back bone thru this and i couldn’t have done without him and my mom as well.
So i was getting my massages done at New Life (worst mistake ever). I had 3 with my package and i purchased another 5. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM with massages. The lady that was doing me was horrible. First of all, it’s only 30 mns total including dressing up. She would only drain me and put me on a machine and basically massage me for a total of 5 mns. She neverrrr massaged my arms. I didn’t know that wasn’t right until i started seeing me getting worst instead of better so i started to investigate. I contacted another massage therapist that was recommended to me by 3 people and she is a God sent. Her name is Arianna and she works right next to new life. In just 1 therapy i have seen an amazing improvement and her massages are approximately 1 hour long. She won’t be done with you until she is done. I even got the red light therapy at my first session. With that being said, get you a GOOD massage therapist so your doctor’s work can really be seen. I am attaching pictures so you can see the difference.

How are you feel now I had mine on the 3rd of April and I have to agree with everything you said the pain was unreal. I don't think anything can prepare you except lots of strong drugs.
I am finding that same days I feel good and other days I'm really tired still think because it's hard to sleep in these garments I had arms and chin done as well..hope it gets better

Still sore mainly in the abdo area and get tired easy. Trying to rest more but it's hard lol but if I do too much I suffer the next couple of days not going back to work yet..hopefully be good in 2 weeks..how are you

I wish i could have taken more days off work. I went back 11 days after my surgery. Take it easy and let time do its magic.
