Halloween Success!!

Still healing and a bit swollen, but I’m feeling pretty awesome. This year I got a costume that I wouldn’t have been comfortable in since my early 20’s, and I got all kinds of compliments at a party this last weekend.
I had my 4 week appt. last week and I was cleared to go back to the gym, as long as I take it slow and don’t overdo it. They also said once I’m comfortable without it, I don’t need to wear the compression wraps at all, and the garments only half of the day... although, I still feel more comfortable with them on, so I’m still pretty much wearing garments 24/7.
Since working out makes me swell, I’ve been wearing the compression wraps afterward to help the swelling go down. Swelling aside, I’m so glad to get back to the gym and see what I can do with the new shape I have!!!
Recovery is an ongoing process still and has been pretty rough, but this is the best decision I’ve made for myself in a long time, and I kind of wish I just would’ve done it sooner.

Pre-op vs week 4

I think I’m more swollen this week than I was last week, hopefully keeping up better with compression will help.
