Despite undergoing liposuction on my arms in Oct. 2022, I'm disappointed with the minimal results after 8 months. My doctor claims more time is needed, but my arms remain the same size as before (12 inches all around day of surgery and 12 inches all around as of today). No weight gain since surgery. Seeking advice on this unsatisfactory outcome. I see everyone else’s amazing results and it’s really bringing me down, especially because I spent so much.

I see, yes likely general or IV sedation either way you will be out. Did you have post op instructions like lymphatic massages etc to reduce the swelling which initially will provide less visible decrease in size.
Also, I am surprised you did not drain hardly, I drained for like a week straight and was very sore first 2 weeks.
I gained about 15 pounds since and it always seems to want to show in my arms so I have an upcoming arm lipo this week, hence how I found your posting! I would hate to waste $$ but the first time was great, I just want them slim as possible.

As for your results, I’m sorry. I had arm lipo before and my arms were noticeably smaller. I went from not wearing short sleeves to bandeau tops.
How was recovery? Draining? I’m just trying to gauge how aggressive the doctor was with you.
