Ouch!

I guess I got a little bit too excited about experiencing little pan. At 2:00 A.M. Tuesday morning is when I experienced some intense pain. It is uncomfortable to lay down and sit, I took ibuprofen800 mg, but will be taking taking the prescribed pain killer soon. Didn’t know that pain would kick in on day 2! I thought it would only get better from day 1.

It’s over!

Hello all, I had my procedure today, whew! So glad that it is over. I had anxiety about the anesthesia, but it went perfectly fine. I can’t remember at what point I fell asleep, (lol). The procedure was performed at 7:32 A.M. , it was over with at 10:32 A.M., and I’m writing this updated review at 2:16 P.M. I woke up with the Marina Recovery “panty length girdle w/suspenders” on (the cost of this garment was included in the final total of this procedure,so there were no extra fees).

I was anticipating much more pain than what I’m currently experiencing now based on YouTube videos . The pain feels like mild period cramps, I would rate the pain a 3/10. However, this is the day of the operation. The pain may become more severe over the next couples of days, I will keep you all posted. I was prescribed hydrocodone and ibuprofen(& I currently don’t feel enough pain to take either of those medications right now).

There was definently drainage! Not so much while leaving the hospital, but when I got home. I brought 2 shower liners (one to cover the car seat ; one to cover my bed just in case of any leakages). I am instructed to change the pads as they become saturated. The incisions are small and I believe I have about 4-5 of them.

Making it up the stairs was okay, at first I was afraid I would have to sleep downstairs (and have a lot of curious questions directed my way because we get a lot of company in my household!)However, walking up the stairs was cake just by being slow and steady. :)

I will come back with “after,” pictures and measurements! :)

Day Before Surgery

Omgosh! The day has finally arrived. Tomorrow is my surgery. I am scheduled to to be there at 6:45 AM (the actual surgery will start at 7:30 AM). I am so nervous and ready for the whole thing to be over with! It is a good thing that I am having my procedure so early in the morning so my nerves won't get the best of me throughout the day.
My Updated Specs:
Current Weight: 185 lbs (Boo! I gained 3 lbs)
Measurements:
Waist (Smallest part): 33 in.
Around Belly Button: 39.5 in
Hips: 45 in
I only plan to lose inches in my waist (the smallest part where there is a "dent," and around my belly button). I do not mind my hips being 45 (it helps in the bbl look lol).
To those of you who've already had lipo, did you get a lymphatic massages after your procedure? I mentioned this to my doctor and he stated that he found them unnecessary due to there not being enough data on the benefits of lymphatic massage after lipo. He said it is completely optional and I can get them if I want, but he does not require it. Thanks!
