25 days PO

A lot has changed in 25 days. I’m definitely more mobile. A lot of the swelling has gone down but there are still areas that are swollen. Arm and thigh liposuction isn’t for the faint of heart. It is difficult and there have been times I have questioned my reasoning for getting those areas done. I’ve had the most difficultly with the right side of my body. My right arm and thigh have been a pain. According to the massage therapist I see, it is normal for one side of the body to be more swollen than the other.
In spite of the discomfort, I’m happy with the physical changes I have seen so far. My arms are slim and I have an hour glass shape! This Friday, August 23rd will be my 4 week post op. I was told by Dr. Pratt that at 4 weeks I could wear the compression garment part time. Instead of 23 hours per day, I only have to wear it for 12 hours per day. Hopefully I can get access to my before pictures the surgeon took. I would like to post them for reference.

Liposuction

I am currently recovering from liposuction with Dr. Broc Pratt at Carolina Age Management Institute. Dr. Pratt performed liposuction on my flanks, bra rolls, lower back, inner thighs, lower abdomen and back of arms. He also removed dog ears from a previous tummy tuck I had with another surgeon. My surgery was performed last Friday, July 26th.
