I have been on the slim side most of my life. When menopause hit, it was brutal in many ways. One of the worst things is my metabolism. It is shot. I workout, eat pretty well and I can’t get rid of the fat have accumulate around my mud section. I hate getting dressed. I am a healthcare professional and I just want to feel food in my clothes again. I’m ok for it! T minus 5 days! Excited but nervous oral meds and local anesthetic.

I have all my supplies for the post op recovery. Still nervous but I have been looking at results and researching the anesthesia process and I’m still in!! I need to get my Rx filled today to have at home when I return. I’ll keep you all posted!! I’m so excited!!

I am scheduled for tomorrow morning! I am having my entire torso done. Upper and lower abdomen, hips and waist. I will post pics as soon as I am able. Wish me luck!!

Update: Catherine2u I used Care Credit loan to pay for the surgery. I arrived early today I am done! It went smoothly. I am home and resting in my recliner. No pain. Some ache round my belly button. Lots of drainage like I have read there would be. A total of 3600 cc of fat out. The staff was great especially my nurse Tamara.
