UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW
I feel it is extremely important that I update this review because my experience today is very different from the positive experience I originally described.
I originally left Dr. Christopher Balgobin a very positive review because, at that time, I trusted him tremendously. I trusted him enough to undergo two surgeries with him and later receive injections into my hip/hip-dip area. I am not writing this update lightly.
The product used for those injections was referred to to me as Permafill. It was described to me as a permanent filler and a collagen-producing product, similar to Sculptra but longer lasting.
Since having these injections, I have become increasingly concerned about the material placed into my body and the long-term effects I am now experiencing..
Since receiving these injections, I have developed complications that have become INCREASINGLY concerning to me. I have experienced hard areas and nodules, inflammation and skin changes, itching and discomfort, and I am now experiencing significant pain, including pain extending into my leg. At this point, I am frightened about what is happening inside my body and what my long-term outcome will be. The product seems to be migrating!!
What has been almost as difficult as the physical complications has been how I have felt during the response to them. I can only speak about my own interactions and experience, but I have not felt the level of concern, urgency, compassion, or support that I expected from a physician I trusted with my body. I have felt frightened and emotionally overwhelmed while trying to determine what is happening and how it can be corrected.
I have also recently become aware that removal of this type of material is now being discussed and offered, and I have observed connections with physicians who perform these types of removals. I do not know what conversations have occurred between anyone involved, and I am not going to speculate about that.
What I can say is that it is incredibly difficult to process the fact that I am now searching for physicians capable of surgically removing or correcting material that I originally trusted this practice to place into my body.
I want to be very clear, my original positive review reflected what I genuinely believed at the time. This update reflects what I am genuinely experiencing now.
I am documenting my symptoms, obtaining medical evaluations, and trying to determine exactly what has happened and what treatment will be necessary going forward. As I receive documented medical information, I intend to continue updating this review accurately.
I am sharing this because I desperately wish I had been able to read the long-term experience of someone in my position before making this decision.
Anyone considering Permafill or any permanent injectable filler for body contouring should ask specifically what the material is made of, how it works, whether any portion of it remains permanently in the body, what complications have been reported, whether it can migrate, how complications are treated, and exactly what removal would involve if something goes wrong.
Those are questions I wish I had known to ask.
I trusted Dr. Balgobin with my body. I never imagined that I would eventually be in pain, frightened about what is inside of me, researching removal surgery, and writing an update like this.
I sincerely hope documenting my experience helps another person make a fully informed decision.
I will continue updating this review as my medical situation develops.

I Won’t Go Anywhere Else! I’m So Lucky to Have Arijai and Dr. Balgobin and His Team Local to Me!
I absolutely love this place! I have been going here since 2019 and haven’t ventured anywhere since. From the moment I walk in, Libby or Melissa are so welcoming along with Chris the office manager. I have been in for Botox, filler, and 360 lipo with BBL. Dr Balgobin is the master of what he does. I feel so fortunate to actually be local to someone that really cares and enjoys what he does. Always adding the latest procedures and the first in the country for permanent booty filler. My friend just had it done and loves it! She also had lipo and no BBL and the ab etching on her is so hot! I’m so happy to have introduced many people here. When it comes to the walk through on procedure, Aftercare and overall experience with the surgery of lipo/bbl I felt in very good hands. Highly recommend Arijai! They have definitely help turned back the time clock for me and I feel so confident. Also I must add the facials, skin pen and ZO skin care are a must.
