Before having my second child (19 months old) I was a Marathon runner and a gym junkie. After giving birth I wasn’t able to get back to where I was physically and mentally. I couldn’t shake that extra baby weight either. So I decided to turn to liposuction to the abdomen. I found Dr. Balgobin on social media and started to follow his work. Walking into Dr. Balgobin office on surgery day hit me hard. I was so nerves but after he walked in the room he made me feel so comfortable and ready for this new beginning for myself. This has to be one of the best decisions that I have made. I’m only 3 weeks post surgery. I have had ups and downs, dealing with the faja, the lipo foam and the ab board. But I know it will all be worth it at the end. I stayed at the recovery house and I advise others to do so as well.

That’s why you get the lymphatic massages, those are key to your post surgery. I was and still am swollen from time to time. This is definitely a process. Only come out of your garment lipo foam and ab boards when you shower and get your massages. The first three weeks after surgery you should be having three massages then down to two then eventually just one a week.

Did your surgeon provide you with the post op lipo garment and foam boards etc? What brand and products do you like?

After surgery you will have the first garment on then at your postop appointment they will give you another one and also pack you up with the Lipo foam.
You need to go on Amazon and order the Lipo foam they’re literally like 3 to 6 dollars for a pack of three.
I ordered a tighter garment on Amazon then got my stage 2 from tributo. You should order that one 3-4 weeks post surgery. That’s the one you’ll be wearing longer. The Amazon one is my back up one. The second garment they give you. Make sure you take that in to a seamstress to get it tighter.
Your going to shrink literally every week. Good luck

For how long did you stay in the recovery home? Also how or where did you book your massages?

The stay is five days (that’s how long I stayed) they have a massage lady that comes to the recovery house. When you do your first massage with her you can ask her to come the following day as well. Just make sure you have your massages set up for when you go back home. Good luck
With doing Vaser lipo they never take ALL the fat out. You should also go get lymphatic massages done by A professional and wear your faja everyday/all day.
