Hey guys! So this is what I look like 6 months post op. You can see a really big difference between my 3 months post op pics to now. However, I will be going back for a revision of the Lower part of my abdomen because I still have fat leftover there. It is scheduled for August 8th, 2019 so I will keep you guys updated. Other than the lower part of my abdomen, I am happy with my results overall. I’m excited to get my revision though and be 100% happy!

2 months post op
Yesterday marked 2 months. I’m not exactly happy with my results, currently. But I’m giving it time. I’ve been exercising 5 days a week, for one hour a day and eating clean. I’m thinking maybe my doctor didn’t take out enough fat.. which makes me mad because after paying what I paid, I feel that I should not have to be pushing this hard for a flat tummy. Otherwise I feel like this surgery was not worth it. I paid for a flat tummy and was told that it was possible based on my before.. but my tummy is far from flat. NOT HAPPY.
My next post will be at the 6 month mark.

I know you said 6 months but any updates?! I’m eager to see results so far. We the same measurements only diff is I have two kids!
Hey there! No noticeable differences as of now. If anything, I feel that my tummy is bigger than it was at this point. :( it kinda fluctuates. I spoke to my surgeon and he said I’ll have to wait for the 6 month mark to get a revision done so we will see. But I’m definitely not happy at this point, and tomorrow I make 3 months post op. I just feel with paying that much money, I should be happy by now.
Awhhh noo, I hope it’s maybe just swelling? and that you see the results you’ve longer for soon!!!
It could be swelling... but if I’m being honest I think the doctor just didn’t take enough fat from the bottom portion of my tummy. I really think he underestimated how much fat I had there lol. But thank you so much!
Update us please! I truly hope you get what you want, eventually! There’s nothing worse than that feeling of not having expectations met :(
I will don’t worry! :) but you are right!! I had such high hopes and had even bought a bunch of clothes to wear after surgery and I haven’t been able to wear them yet because of how my tummy looks. :( it’s just discouraging.. but if I see major changes before the 6 month mark, I’ll post about it!!
I think you look great. I'm five feet and weighted approximately 106 pounds when I had my lipo but the doctor removed too much fat and now I have a saggy belly button and saggy skin. It looks terrible especially in the sun. You are younger than me and it seems that your skin has retracted just fine. Hopefully you are happier now than at the two month mark.
Thank you for that! But I’m so sorry that happened to you. :( have you spoken to doctors to see what your options are to fix that???
Yes. About a year later, I talked to the doctor that performed the procedure and he said that he thought it looked fine. He said that I probably would get some benefit from endermologie treatments but I wasn't in a rush to follow that recommendation. I joined this website to get some feedback from other doctors and most thought that there was nothing that could be done to give me any noticeable improvement. One thing I would have done over if I could is wear as tight a compression garment as I could stand. I had two or three but I remember one was quite loose. My surgeon recommended I do self massage which I did religiously with a roller but I think I should have done the massages like you. I'm interested to see if you found them helpful at all.
Wow.. maybe you’d even find it beneficial to see some new doctors in person to get their opinions? Some doctors will even do one on one video sessions/consults. As far as the massages go, apparently I was supposed to get those done the day of my surgery. Like literally leaving from the surgery table, I was supposed to go straight to the massage place but I was never told this. I was told to go at least within a week. Which I did, but turns out the place I went to didn’t specialize in post op lymphatic massages.. just lymphatic massages in general so by the time I was able to schedule an appointment at the correct facility, it had already been 2 weeks... and I think that that is part of the reason why my lower tummy sticks out so much. I was never properly drained quick enough. I’m not sure if I can say that they were beneficial because I’m not sure how my results would have been if I hadn’t gotten them. But I will say, having to pay another $1,000 for the massages was ALOT Of money in my opinion since I had already paid $6,500 for my surgery... and I was not aware that the massages were going to cost that much.
You are right. It probably is a good idea for me to see another surgeon and get his or her opinion especially since it bothers me so much. But I know that I did not have that kind of sagginess before. I did go to one of those cool sculpting places and was told that it would help but they are not really surgeons and that procedure was almost $2000 so I figured I would wait and research it more. That is a lot of money for the massages and horrible that you were not given the right information. All that post care is so critical and I understood that, but I didn't understand it could make such a huge difference in the end result.
Yes because I’m sure something could be done! Don’t leave it as is especially if it truly bothers you. I’m sure something can done. Yeah cool sculpting costs too much in my opinion! And for the results... I don’t see how it’s worth it. Maybe you can try skin tightening treatments... but like I said you should see a doctor in person! So are you thinking that since you didn’t get the lymphatic massages done, you were left with loose skin? Because for me, all it did was help make the swelling go down somewhat. But I believe that my doctor also uses something called jplasma in conjunction with the lipo fluid to help the skin retract seamlessly.
I can see there’s a lot different than before! And I think the swelling is still there so you’ll be even more fit later on! I’m quite concerned about the pain cuz I’ll be doing the lipo too in a few days. Hopefully I get the same amazing result like yours!!
I went for a 3 month post visit with my surgeon and according to him my results are the way they are because of my genetics? That didn’t make sense to me. It’s clear that he didn’t take enough from the lower abdomen. But good luck!!! I’m sure your results will be great!!! Let me know how everything goes.
Sorry your not happy with your results. I was planning to have the same procedure done, but backed out due to the results I had seen being too wishy washy. I know a TT is what would give me the results I want (I’ve had 2 kids but always had a lower tummy pooch even prior). I just had the downtime for a big surgery as a TT. Best of luck and keep up with your excersize and clean eating!
I’m sorry you don’t have the downtime for a TT. I hope eventually that option opens up for you so you can finally do what you’ve been wanting to! And thanks so much, I’ll do my best! :)

4 weeks post op
Today marks 4 weeks since I got lipo. Each day I definitely fluctuate when it comes to swelling. My stomach does not feel numb anymore. I’m still wearing my garment 24/7. When I take the garment off to work out, my stomach starts getting tense and tight. I am still getting my lymphatic massages - I have 4 left. Due to the massages I’m not getting any hard lumps anymore, but those dang massages are PAINFUL!! Some days my tummy feels like it looks bigger than other days but I started working out two days and I have started a diet as well. I still feel swollen especially in my lower abdomen area. I will be upgrading to a smaller Faja/garment today. I have posted a picture of it, it’s from amazon and it’s 10 times tighter than my other one! This should help my swelling go down even more. I will post another update at 2 months!
