MD Does Not Do Consultations, Only a Technician Does.

The doctor will not meet with you to do a consultation, I was told today by staff member when I tried to book a consultation about possible surgeries. They said that I could only meet with a patient care coordinator technician to give me all the information I needed. I’ve Attached a screenshot of the proof I have that they sent me via text.

The doctor does do a meet and greet after the first consultation. The other option is to do a consultation on days he does procedures however, his time is more limited. The doctor also does virtual consultations. The reason to meet with the nurse who is also the patient coordinator first is to discuss the whole procedure and discuss the price, plus there is no charge for the consultation. Most places charge for the doctors time and we don't. We apologize about the miscommunication about the process. Text messages are not always the most detailed and we apologize It wasn't explained properly. We would be happy to set up a consultation with the surgeon if your still interested and make this up to you.
