3 months post op right after an airbrush spray tan where she sprayed on abs lol! I wish my abs were a little more prominent. I still feel like I have a whole layer of fat over my whole stomach. Still kind of flabby, but this will be much easier to work off in the gym than what I started with 3 months ago!

Response from Dr. Stratt:
Thank you very much for sharing your experience. Your last photos look amazing. While Smartlipo and Liposculpture under local is an extremely safe and effective procedure, there are some limitations. Some people will experience discomfort during the numbing process. There can be a lot of variability in one's response. In order to help our patients, we recently employed a patient controlled analgesia system which greatly improves the comfort and ease of the procedure. Thank you again.

You look great. Thanks for posting an update. I feel the same as you though, even though I am only 3 weeks post op I feel as if I have a small layer of fat still present but like you said it will be easier to get rid of in the gym from this point. Did the bulge under your belly button go away? I am having the same exact issue. Also, where did you get a new compression garment? I need a smaller one but I’m not sure where it is best to order from...

6 week update & how I got rid of lumpiness / hard spots

korehtaeh
Finally starting to feel better about my results!!!!!!!! How I got rid of the lumps and bumps on my tummy: STOPPED WEARING COMPRESSION GARMENT and started dry brushing the skin (google it) to increase blood flow to the area and stimulate healing process! Still slightly lumpy, but MUCH better as you can see if you compare my pics.

Woke up feeling/looking good today!

I got a new tighter compression garment and slept in it last night. I feel like it helped the look of lumpiness go down (comparing pics from this morning and yesterday). I hope it’s making the lumps actually go away and not just hiding them...

I feel your pain, I had a Lipo a month ago and I developed fibroses which made my abdomen hard and lumpy. it got better after lymphatic massage. Or though I was very sceptical, I noticed the difference even after the first session! I had two already, my surgeon suggested 5 sessions. And the lady who is doing the massages recommended a different garment, more of a tummy binder. This made a difference too as the previous (much more expensive one) was too soft, which caused the fabric fold and that created creases in my body, especially around the waist line. My surgeon suggested to wear the binder until 6 weeks mark (after the procedure) during the day and up to 2 months at night time. My masseuse recommended wearing it as much and as long as possible, and I see her point. My tummy looks smoother every day but even if I take the binder to take a shower I can see it starts hardening and looks lumpier. Now I know it is going to be a long process and it needs lots of patience. I am going to wear the binder as long as I can bare it. Luckily it's cold now, I can't imagine wearing it in Summer! Your results are amazing to be honest. I will try to post recent photos on my review. Have a look if you want to feel better:)
