Let me start off by saying that I am not the type of person to put ANY of my personal business out there let alone of any type of platform but I feel like it needs to be done so it doesn’t happen to any other guy or girl. I know I’m probably going to get a ton of hate as this doctor has a huge following and is very well known. (Time of surgery) I am a 30yo male 6’ 205lbs. I had been following Dr Lamadrid for at least 1 year and after seeing all his posts I decided he was going to be my Dr one day. In January 2021 I messaged one of his reps/assistants via WhatsApp. We went back and fourth with questions, medical history, and pictures. I found out two of my friends had already booked and scheduled with the Dr in April 2021 so I asked my Rep is she had anything open around the same dates so we could travel together as it was our first time in Colombia. Rep send me my quote and send me a list of what would be included in my Tourism Package. Every seemed good with pricing and I was content and I was getting everything I wanted done. My rep was pretty amazing and said if I sent my deposit they would try and fit me in if anything opened up. I sent my deposit, she confirmed they received it. She messaged me and let me know they had an opening on 4/13/21 and if I wanted it, my friends surgery was on 4/25/21 so it was s still a little to far out for me. On 2/14/21 I message her and ask her if they had had any cancellations. 2/15/21 she massages me back that that they have an opening on 4/20/21 and let her know if it works for me. 2/17/21 I finally reply to her and agree on surgery for the 20th and then hours later she sends me another message and tells me 4/22/21 opened up and we schedule this as it works out better so I’m not alone so many days. She gives me the date I need to arrive and stay until. We get it a squared away. She send me two sheets of preop information and recommendations and explanation of what’s to come when I arrive, pretty much an itinerary. She lets me know some supplies and other fees that I’ll need that are not included in the price. Additional fees: Surgery insurance $150usd (you end up paying this in pesos colombianos directly to the hospital right before your surgery and if I remember correctly it was $400,000 pesos) COVID test (to return the the US) $70usd Anesthesiologist consult fee $40usd.

Supplied not included: Sanubrol (amazing ointment used with your massages- driver purchased it for me in Colombia) $80,000pesos. Diapers size 3 these are used to cover each incision. Helps soak up anything your draining. I would use 5 diapers every time so I’d take plenty (5 diapers and if change them at least twice a day) Puppy pads so

You dnt drain on the bed while you sleep or during massages, you’ll need at least 2 per day. Non scented body or baby wipes they are life savers. They use them to clean you up after every massage but I literally used them for everything. Girls especially if your getting a BBL you feel a lot cleaner if you use a wipe. I recommend bringing everything with you vs buying it out there. 3/12/21 I sent her all my flight information nd she forwards it to the driver that will be picking me up. On 3/31/21 she resends me the preop paperwork and I ask her about the pain pump they offer for $350. She answers some questions for me and let’s me know that the pain pump I have let the anesthesiologist know when I have my consult with him and he’ll get it ready. I 100% recommend maying the extra $350 for the pain pump lol they aren’t narcotics but it significantly helps with the pain. We have more communication with my rep back and forth days prior to leaving. Because of where I live I had to leave 4/19 to arrive at Miami for my flight to Barranquilla on 4/20. Rep send me a message letting me know my driver was reminded to pick me up. When I land on n Barranquilla I have a message from my rep with simple instructions on the process of immigration and send me a picture of my driver because he wasn’t driving the normal vehicle that has the drs logos on it. I get picked up by Jose and he starts driving us into the city. He lets me know that our first stop will be to get my covid test done. We get to lab and it’s packed!!! We wait there for about 1.5-2 hours and then Jose takes us to the hotel. All is going pretty well everything is being communicated. The

Anesthesiologist messaged me and schedules a virtual consult the next morning at 730am. I message my rep and ask her what my itinerary was for the following day 2/21 because the anesthesiologist had scheduled me for a 730 call. I message my rep To let her know about the appointment at 730 and she tells me I have to be ready by 8 because I have to go get my preop labs done and I have to be fasting and that in the afternoon they will pick me up again to go down to the drs office to finalize payment and to get any questions answered and this is where it gets weird!!!! She also tells me that 4/21 in the evening they will be picking me up to take to me Cartagena because that’s where my surgery will be done. I was shocked!!! I was under the impression my surgery was going to be done in Barranquilla. They explain that due to

Covid restrictions on Barranquilla all elective surgeries were suspended and the only way the could operate is out of a hospital in Cartagena that was roughly 2 hours away by car. Shocked by this new information I was still excited. 2/21/21 I wake and get ready for my anesthesia appointment, the anesthesiologist was really attentive and gave me a really good vibe and kind of calmed my nerves down a bit. Driver messages me that he is down stairs and I head out to get the lab work done along with 2 others that will be getting surgery as well. Get back to hotel have breakfast relax a bit before going to see the dr. They take me to Lamadrid’s office and it’s super nice, very luxurious. Everything you expect from a internationally recognized Dr. Staff is amazing and attentive they offer you a coffee( which I totally recommend!! The gal there makes probably the best coffee I have ever tried) they call me up to the front desk they pull up my quote they minus my deposit and have me pay. Cool every is paid and I’m expecting to see my surgeon as I have surgery the next day but he’s not seeing patients even tho he’s in the building(we see him walk by). All the staff make is seem super normal that we aren’t going to see him till the day of surgery and we’ll I dnt know but they just give you this assurance and you see this established dr. You know his work cuz you stock his Instagram daily. He’s a celebrity so you figure maybe this is normal right. So they take back to the hotel I have dinner. And I wait for them to tell me we are leaving to Cartagena. Don’t remember the exact time but it was pretty late, past 10 I think they pick me and take other girls up to take us to a hotel in Cartagena. We get to hotel very late, we settle in and go to sleep. Around 9am one of the nurses messages me and tells me the anesthesiologist has told em to order me some soup and a Gatorade and to not eat or drink past 4pm because my surgery won’t be till later in the evening. I didn’t hear from them till around 1 when she told me not to leave the room because the dr was on his way to finally give me my consult and to mark me up for surgery. Waited for hours!! I was [RS Bleep] off, aggrieved, stressed out, hungry, and scared at this point. I finally heard a knock at the door it had to have past 5pm to the dr, his assistant, and the nurse. Lamadrid has this [RS Bleep] charisma this energy that is 1 in a million. I instantly forgot that I was [RS Bleep] off at him. He came in this this smile and attitude that just makes you feel comfortable. He cracks some jokes on being late and he talks to me about what I want and then starts marking my body up. I tell em what I want, what my goal is, what my biggest insecurity is and he tells me what his plan is. His plan and his words assured me I had made the right choice to get surgery by him but I was wrong. My gynecomastia is the main reason I wanted to get surgery done so I made sure to tell him I wanted a flat chest, my flanks lipo, and I wanted some edging on my stomach but not a six pack. We was on the same page of what I wanted. After my consult he gave me all the confidence back and made me feel comfortable again. I was ready for surgery. I get a message from the nurse to leave all my belongings and just take the money for the surgery insurance I meet the driver in the lover and head to the hospital. Once there my anxiety starts to kick in. I’m about to have surgery. They take my vitals and get my IV in and they take me into surgery it was around 9-930pm. When I wake up I’m in like a recover room in my faja and wrapped in Al what looked like a really big puppy pad. I wake up in a lot of pain and like a burning feeling everywhere. I guess they had to wait to put the pain pump on till I was fully awake which made sense but that [RS Bleep] hurt. At some point in the early hours of Friday 4/23 they take me back to the Cartagena hotel to recover for a a couple hours and they woke up [RS Bleep] early to have breakfast. Like I was up eating by 7am. One thing I don’t remember is if I had a massage in Cartagena before breakfast I remember I did but like in a dream if that makes any sense. After breakfast they collected my things from the room and they drove me and one of the girls back to Barranquilla. By 4pm Friday I had a massage and drained a ton and that’s when I noticed one side (my left) of my stomach was even with the other. I pointed it out to the gal doing my massage and she s aid it could be because I was swollen. Didn’t think much about as it made sense maybe I was swollen. This being the first time I had taken my faja off and seeing myself for the first time I was liking what I saw. Yes it was swollen but I looked good. Next days are normal just recovering and going to the drs office to get my massage then a second massage in my hotel room in the afternoon. When I have my post op appointment I let him know about my chest and how I see no change. He tells me because it’s swollen and to compress it, so I compress it with diapers like he told me. 4/29 last day in Barranquilla. Had my last massage in office then back to hotel where the nurses had me buy a shot of a med that was for swelling and pain for the flight home. When I got home I followed the [RS Bleep] post op instructions to the T!! Followed his after care. Followed his meal plan. Had two massages daily for the first 10 days then 1 massage for another 10 days. I wore my faja nearly 24 hours a day for 3 months and at least 12 a day for 2 additional months . I have 8 fajas, lipo foams, and tablas. Like I did everything I was supposed to cuz I really wanted to keep my results. I kept noticing that my man boob just wouldn’t go away. So I kept doing everything I need to do on my part. At three months I was just over the fact that I didn’t see any changes on my boobs so I messaged my rep and asked my rep why they’re want going down. She asked the dr and he advised me to do squats so my body could absorb the fat “El doctor recomienda realizar sentadillas para que el cuerpo absorba la grasa” literally squats for my gynecomastia. So she asked for pictures of my uneven side and my boobs. I sent them 8/1 and she told me she would show them to dr and let me know. Messaged her 8/12-8/19-8/22-8/24-8/30 and no answer. So on 9-15 I messaged one of the nurses and got Nohemy which is the drs nurse. Sent her a message and screen screen shots of everything that happened and how they left me on read and didn’t reply. She was being pretty helpful. Asked for more pictures. I sent them. Asked me if I was still doing my massages and said if I wore my faja it would help. Finally heard back from my rep on 10/6 I’m assuming because the drs nurse started to move them. saying that they could correct my “mastopexia” which translates to breast lift(LOL) and I still had to pay $5000 plus medical supplies. I replied and NEVER heard back from my rep. I went back and fourth with the nurse and we’ll the last message she sent me was on 11/20. And have yet to hear back and this is why I’m writing this. Because after everything the dr still hasn’t had the 5 mins to call me and see what’s wrong. It’s a on going back and fourth. He posts only his prime work and makes it seem like everyone will have their dream body with him when he only picks and chooses what he posts. I will be posting pictures on how on the operating table you can see that one side of my stomach is bigger. And to this day that same side is bigger and with my chest well not only do I have gynecomastia but now it’s outlined with the edging he did so it looks even worse. Know of a girl that got work a breast reduction, lipo, and bbl and she is also not content. I think what pissed me off is that we went back and fourth with different t ppl that left me on read and he can’t even call me or message me to talk it out. To admit he didn’t lipo or remove my glads even after I specifically said I wanted my chest flat it was my biggest problem my biggest insecurity. A simple Im sorry let figure out how we are going to fix it.
