WORTH IT
The Experience.
From start to finish, I had the best experience. Dr Rastogi was recommended to me by my GP, and I worked for another surgeon at the time. I chose Dr Rastogi due to his credentials, and experience. Dr Rastogi was very kind and talked me through the whole process during the consultation. I never felt rushed, and my appointment went for about 1.5 hours. All of the administrative staff were also incredibly helpful, and I never felt like I was annoying them with my questions, and even Paige, their Business Manager, gave me her phone number so I had her support during the weekends (as well as Dr Rastogi's number).
The results.
AMAZING!!! I am not a large girl, but I have had issues with my arms for the longest time. During my consultation Dr Rastogi went through my arms meticulously, going through each irregularity and how he would need to lipo around these areas so when the skin retracts, it retracts evenly.
I now feel confident to wear thin strapped tops and dresses, and people think I have worked out!
The recovery.
I had surgery on the Friday, went home that day, went out for lunch with my friends on the Sunday and back to work on Monday. No pain relief was taken, wore my post-operative garment for 10 days, and saw the end results around 6 weeks as the skin retracts. I wish I did it sooner, knowing how easy the recovery was and how the results look.
Would I recommend?
10/10. Do not fall for the plastic surgeons are better than cosmetic surgeons. Dr Rastogi has over 30 years' experience, some plastic surgeons do not.
His artistic skill, medical experience and kindness have made me confident to recommend to anyone I know thinking about having liposuction. Go to Dr Anoop Rastogi, 9 Bay Street Double Bay, you will NOT regret it!
