Beautiful Results, But Overpriced and Poorly Managed

Dra. Céspedes is truly a talented surgeon whose results speak for themselves. I was very interested in booking with her because I genuinely admired her work. Unfortunately, my experience with the quoting process and communication through her coordinator, Ana, was not what I expected.
I received a quote for Breast Lift + Vaser Lipo + BBL for $12,069 USD, not including the recovery house, meals, transportation, or other essentials. Once all additional costs were included, my total came to around $16,000 USD, which is unexpectedly high — even compared to many top surgeons in the U.S.
What stood out most was what happened when I asked to remove the breast lift from my package. The updated quote came back at $11,410 USD, meaning the price only decreased by $659 USD. Considering that a breast lift is a major procedure that typically costs much more than $659 to add or remove, the pricing felt unclear and left me confused about how the quote was structured.
This made me pause and ask myself: Is this normal for the DR?
I’ve received numerous quotes from other respected surgeons — including Nathaly Bello and Dr. J. Rafael Gómez — and none have been nearly this high for the same combination of procedures.
Another challenge for me was the communication. I was hoping to book before the holidays, but the coordinator stopped responding to several of my messages at a time when I needed clarity to move forward. I also reached out to the doctor’s official Instagram page in hopes of getting guidance, and while my messages were seen, they were unfortunately not responded to. That left me feeling unsure about continuing.
To be fair, I still believe Dra. Céspedes produces beautiful results and is highly skilled. My review is not about her surgical talent, but about the pricing clarity and communication process, which are important factors when choosing a surgeon — especially for international patients who need trust and consistent communication throughout the process.
I ultimately decided not to proceed with the clinic, but I hope this feedback helps improve the patient experience moving forward.
