Baja BBL and Liposuction

Vida Wellness starts by picking you up from the airport. You seamlessly cross the border into Tijuana. My driver was super nice and a wealth of information and good conversation. Upon arrival I was greeted by Cosmed staff who were very nice. Adriana is the Dr.'s coordinator and has been there for every step. Now here is where I wasn't happy. The wait times were ridiculous. I waited for the doctor for hours. I had a quick consult and then another long wait for surgery. I was alittle confused due to "required labs" to be done in Mexico that were never done. I paid for these? So what did I pay for? The waiting lounge was nice with a nice recliner and Netflix so I entertained myself. I waited 6 long hours but was required to be there at 7am? I was ushered in and prepped for surgery. Im a nurse so I was watching everything. It was a very basic surgery room. Don't expect how the US surgery rooms look like.

The anesthesiologist came in gave me a quick chat and knocked me out. I wake up in the recovery area which was nice as well. The nurses were very nice and took great care of me. I got one post op faja that was $160. Now in the US they are included and you get 3. For each stage of your recovery...but I suppose because of the price difference they charge for every little bit. I was supposed to get filler to under my eyes and lips on Friday but had to remind my coordinator to schedule it for Monday before I left. I stayed at the Recovery Boutique which was VERY NICE. The rooms are super cute and posh.. You get great prepared meals with snacks whenever you want. They are always close by so you never feel alone. They dressed my wounds every morning and made sure I took my prescribed medication. No fault of theirs but having to put on the same dirty faja for several days was not cool. I wish that it at least could have been washed. So..check out on Monday and my consult and filler appt. Another super long wait. Im getting irritated at this point. The doctor comes in and he seems in a rush and rushed me in my wants and expectations. Know that Dr. Castanedas is very conservative with his filler application. I wanted more but felt as if he was rushing so I just let it go. That was very disappointing as I had certain expectations and a syringe of Volbella is only $350!! That's a steal. My lips still look good but you can barely tell I did anything. Oh well. There was no post op consult like I was told. It will be in 1 week via zoom. Next I went to get my first lymphatic massage. The girl was very nice and did a good job although it was not as intense as the one I got in Miami with another doctor. My transport was ready and off we went. The border crossing was seamless. Same driver and again a great ride. Overall I had a good experience. They are professionals and very catering to their clients. The wait times need to be improved and labs that were not done should not be charged. I would go back for another procedure but this time I would be more vocal. If you can speak Spanish it is definitely a plus. I can speak alittle and just listened mostly. Enjoy your Baja adventure if you choose to pick Dr. Castanedas. Pictures to come!

So now that it has been one week I realize that I didn't talk about my results. I had alot of fibrous tissue as stated from the doctor from previous surgeries. He did a great job breaking it up and taking the abdomen and fat from my 360! My thighs are just what I wanted with lipo. My butt from the BBL is what I wanted from my first surgery so I'm happy. Overall great job!

This ab board I just bought changed my life. Much better compression for me. So rn this is what I look like in clothes. Snatchedbody's faja was also a great buy! The compression is right in the waist and ample enough for your butt and hips. I am sizing down already!
