Dr. Gutowski is an extremely knowable surgeon in the field of treating lipodema, an often misunderstood condition. I suffered with it for many years and, up until last year, was not even aware of this progressive condition. The doctor who referred me to Dr. Gutowski told me he had great confidence in his ability to treat lipodema. Since the only true "cure" for lipodema is liposuction, I was a bit fearful. I consulted with Dr. Gutowski, and believe me I asked a lot of questions. Every question was answered, and no question was considered unnecessary. I decided to move forward because living with this progressive condition was becoming more and more painful and debilitating. The surgery went well and now I was also impressed with Dr. Gutowski's skill as a surgeon. Although I am still in the process of healing, I am seeing and feeling the results.
