Mother of twins with diastasis and hernia

$900
Nothing has changed from last lipolaser / Venus treatment. They didn't work but I realize that with my diastasis it wouldn't be noticeable if there were any changes in my abdomen. I looked exactly the same 6 treatments and 900 dollars later. Now, I'm going to get a TT and repair a hernia. I'm pretty sure I decided in the PS. One last spot and I will post my journey!

I had my first Venus treatment. It felt really hot in my belly. The tech had to restart the machine every time it got too hot. This r pics after 1st venus.

Hey girl, just letting you know I am in somewhat of a similar boat. I didn't have twins but I have two kids, youngest is 8 months old. I am super fit but couldn't get my stomach back totally flat so I had abs lipo' so there is basically very little fat there but my stomach doesn't look flat. The plastic surgeon kept thinking it was post surgery bloat, but now that I'm two months out he thinks it is that way due to the separated stomach muscles. I could have had a tummy tuck but I didn't feel like I had too much excess skin or excess fat, but sure wish there were easier ways to get stomach back to flat. Crunches are the worst thing to do for diastasis, so I am on constant lookout for moves or things to do to help bring the muscles together without surgety. But figured I would let you know that even tradition liposuction didn't correct the problem area either.

Thanks for letting me know! Im considering a tummy tuck. I have consulted a few doctors and they all agree it's the only solution for Diastasis. I tried the tupler technique and even bought the belt. It helped a bit but the moment I took the belt off the muscles came back out. I will be going to a second plastic surgeon for comparison in prices and procedure.

Thanks for your comments! I AM seriously considering a TT to correct the Diastasis and get rid of the extra skin. As you know, when you have been fit all your life, you can't see yourself with a big belly, particularly when you still r fit everywhere else. I'm scared of the surgery but I really want to feel and look good.

Let us know what you decide. You could always post your question in the doctor Q and A...it can be helpful to get multiple opinions and when they all weigh in with similar opinions, it helps justify a decision you are heading in the right direction...goodluck!

Cavitation/lipolaser for tightening and reducing fat loss in the abdomen
gemelosFebruary 12, 2015
After 5th cavitation treatment I didn't see any visible results. I lost 1" above the navel, 1 by the navel and 1 below the navel. I was not happy that I spent almost 1,000 for that. So the doctor was very nice and offered me three Venus treatments for free. They feel bad and they want to make it better. I Will post results after Venus treatments b

Do you think those treatments would have been more effective in other areas though? did they treat just your tummy? because if they treated your waist and the small of your back the diastasis is no excuse for it not to work right?
I was wondering if it's worth to do that treatment on my legs and arms.
