Post Lipolaser/ Lipsuction neck

Dear Realselfies,

It's been 3 months post treatment. I've religiously been wearing the headband during the 3 month period as advised by Dr. Tha-In. I noticed over time the skin improves and the laser seems to do it's skin-tightening work over time. I was fortunate I didn't have any "knots" or anything of that sort post-op. I received one post-op deep-tissue massage and at home I kept on continuing with my micro-needling regime. Maybe something to keep in mind is how much has been removed. I weigh 61 kg and am 5"8 tall. Not much fatty tissue. But still enough removed to make a huge difference.
A few weeks ago I went to see Dr. Tha-In for a post-op consultation and she examined me and touched base with me about my findings. She is truly the most friendly and knowledgable specialist in her field in this country I daresay. She goes over all the details you need to know. Asks the right questions and on top of that she is very professional and knows what she's talking about.
I would give this clinic a 10 out of 10. But really they deserve a 12 out of 10. I am so impressed! Thank you Dr. Tha-In and your lovely team!

Lipolaser/liposuction Neck -

Recently I underwent a lipolaser/liposuction neck treatment performed by Dr. Tanya Tha-In, co-founder of Skin + Surgery. What an incredible woman! She’s not only highly skilled, but levels with you and is genuinely interested in your story and takes time to come with realistic solutions. The clinic oozes friendliness and professionalism. There’s an atmosphere of calm as soon as you walk in. Dr. Tha-In suggested a lipolaser combined with a liposuction neck treatment for a natural result. I received all the info I needed in an email prior to the procedure and what to do and what to expect afterwards. 12 hours beforehand you’re not allowed to eat or drink. Local anesthetics has been given just prior to the procedure. A cannula was inserted through 3 small punctures (ears and underneath chin). The treatment itself was at first a bit uncomfortable, but overall, quite painless. After the treatment a bandage was applied around my head and was removed the day after and replaced it with a pressure bandage to keep the skin taut. The clinic gave me a list of instructions and antibiotics (2 tablets) and a low dose of Prednisone. This to prevent infection and swelling. Plus, a strip of Paracetamol and Diclofenac for the pain and a cold pack to cool and reduce the swelling. In a fairness, I never had the need to use the cold pack, but of course that’s just me. I didn’t experience any pain, more a discomfortable feeling. I noticed swelling in my neck, but that’s to be expected. Eating was a bit awkward, cause the entire area, chin, jaw, and neck felt so stiff and swollen that it wasn’t easy to eat at the beginning. The first 24 hours you aren’t allowed to drink any hot drinks. As chewing isn’t comfortable, I opted for liquid food (soup – cooled down!). Day 2: After the bandage was removed, I was amazed how little bruising there was! They applied the pressure bandage and as advised to wear this 24/7 for 14 days. Day 3: I started to experience itchiness underneath my skin in my neck and jawline. The pressure bandage is quite comfortable but noticed after a few days the seam on my chin and throat was giving me a lot of discomfort. So, I decided to wear the pressure bandage inside out and that made a world of a difference! There were still bruises (yellow)in my neck. Day 4-8: The bruises are slowly disappearing. The area underneath my chin still feels tender and numb(ish). Day 9: No more bruises. The area underneath the chin is still tender and touch sensitive. Still a bit numb, but not as bad as previous days. Forwarding time, 3 weeks later, the results are astounding (see images below). I was told it could take up to 6 months to see optimal result because of the collagen production. If you consider a non-invasive little-to-no-downtime treatment and with a highly qualified friendly doctor than Dr. Tha-In and her clinic is the place to go to.
