How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Jury is Still out

I had lipodissolve 2 months ago. I don’t know how to feel about it.
I followed all the directions by the registered nurse who did it, drink 3L per day, massage for 5 mins 5 times per day using coconut oil. Then the acne started and I could not control it, the pressure being applied as part of the massage was making my skin become dimply. I had to back off the massages to fix the skin problem with medication. So I am now left with a fat necrosis lump on my left jawline, and still a lump under my chin.
I’m not saying it doesn’t work, I’m aware some need multiple sessions. I’m still massaging so haven’t completely lost hope.
No one warned me about the acne and the flow on effects from that. I write this review in case others have a similar experience. If you do, stop the coconut oil straight away.
My first treatment cost $575 including the doctors script. The FaceTime appt with the doctor was interesting, at the end she said ‘good luck with the fillers’ the nurse had to correct her and say I was having lipodissolve. So in other words the doc had no idea what script she was writing for me…
