Lipodissolve Causing Scarring?
jandorOctober 20, 2019
Is it normal to have scarring after lipodissolve? I just had one single treatment and the injection sites became very sore-like and appeared that the tissue became necrotic. It took a number of weeks to heal. Now that it is, the scars remain. However, I can't find in other people's pictures who have had lipodissolve something similar? I mean, there is *no* way that people can have 5-6 of these treatments with all of these spots coming up every time.
Were the needles too close to the surface? Is this actually normal? What happened? What should I do? Any info helps...

I have recently trained as a lipodissolve practitioner and a reaction like this should not be possible with deoxycholic acid. It is designed to be injected between 2-4mm beneath the skin surface so unlikely to be to close to the surface.
Do you know which product was used? Also have you ever suffered with scarring in the past? If the answer is no I would get a second opinion.

Could this have happened with deoxycholic acid if it was too close to the surface? I have never had any kind of reaction to anything like this. Allergic or otherwise.

Yes but if the practitioner did not withdrew the plunge then the compounding solution may cause necrosis of the skin due to cellular membrane damage.

I've done 5 treatments which I do it myself and never did I get anything remotely close. I don't even bruise. The worst I've had is maybe a little tenderness in that area for about 24 hrs, but that's it. Whatever he injected you with, is not anything that is out on the market and I've tried them, from Kabella, to Lipo Lab, to The Red (from Korea) to Dr. Lipo V Line. They are all great and have really removed a lot of my body fat and double chin. I don't think I would have done a second session had I gotten the effect you did. I would ask him what did he use as a fat disolver? I actually got some fake Kabelline not to long ago and knew immediately it wasn't Kabelline because that stuff burned like a MF just having the tip of the needle touch my skin. Luckily I was able to get my money back. You have to make sure you do your research. None of the ones I mentioned burn (except The Red) and Lipo Lab just a little but it's for a second, and none of them leave you with any type of scars or bumps. Go get your money back.

Hey there, I’m interested in doing the red on myself. Any tips on where to buy it and if a pen would be better? I’ve tried lipo lab and it did NOTHING.

Yes, this definitely burned!
Unfortunately, it was a free treatment and it was at a small, but reputable spa...

How many sessions did you do though? For persistent fat you will need 1/week for 2 months
