Hello all…I am 14 days post op and feel pet darn good pain wise. My swelling has decreased dramatically and so has the size of my butt but I digress.
I have a question. I am 14days po from bbl and lipo. I got 12 MLD massages but only the first one did they open the incisions during the massage to drain. Every massage after that they did not because the incision had already closed in one day. I showed some concern, but the Masseuse told me that it was unethical to reopen incisions but not to worry at all because she was pushing all of the excess fluid through the lymphatic system, and it will be drained out that way and come out through my pee. I have gone back to my surgeon 3 times in 5 days. I have so much fluid on my stomach and back they had to drain it with a needle. It took them almost 15 tubes total to get it all out. Wearing this Faja every day along with four levels of foam to add extra compression on my abdomen and I see the fluid is built back up again. I have to go back again in Monday. Is there something that I am doing to cause this? Did anyone else experience this? What can I do to prevent this?
