3 Vbeam & 1 CO2 laser so far for right upper lip venous lake

It’s been six weeks since I had a YAG laser treatment with PA Laura. She is a great listener and understood my frustration in not getting the proper treatment elsewhere for this lip venous lake. I am thrilled that when I look in the mirror I see my old lips back, no upper lip skin flap hanging down. I’m am no longer self conscious about my lip when I talk to strangers. It is still healing but no blue vessel to be seen! I’m so happy I had my husband take this picture of us together!

I did talk to Dr. V in Miami and also to Dr. Singh in NYC. They both told me to wait and give it a couple of months to heal. Sage advice. My husband can’t believe how it’s getting smaller every day. Dr. V wrote a prescription for Silvadene 1% cream to lip because he could see during chat that the scab needed some wound care. I applied a scant amount to scab and it’s healing faster. I’m just hoping this will be gone for good.

It’s been 10 days since 1064 YAG laser and I’m hoping this scab will soon be gone and my lip restored to the way it looked before. I’m keeping my video chat with Dr V in Miami this week because I will go to him to have it surgically removed if necessary.
