Lip Repositioning I don’t know, I still have a gummy smile …to be fair I had a bad gummy smile not the worst case but if I smiled really hard it looked bad and still does there is millimeters of difference in hindsight I would’ve just stuck with Botox even tho it wears off so fast. I say this bc the lip repositioning gave me a upward u smile or like a n smile …shark like, when I use to have a downward v smile (I mean still sharky bc of the gummyness but not literal shark choppers like now). With Botox now my smile is good like gummy but not bad at all so I have to be on top of that. I don’t know if it was worth it because I still have a hyper pull in the middles only. it’s not even therefore it creates an upward u/n type of gummy smile vs my normal v smile (I miss it).
Pro it helps some as in millimeters, makes ur top lip a little fuller (noticeable but not crazy, my fav part of it)
Cons not noticeably different, changed smile shape, might’ve reversed but only in the middle lip region altering the smile, still need botox to help
If I could go back, I would’ve maybe saved for jaw surgery and braces before I turned 25 when bone can still heal quicker/stronger. Gum lift for sure too.
The doctor did state/warn me about all my cons and pros so I won’t list the dr to avoid bad publicity because I think he did what he could.
