my infection has now spread to my chin and…

my infection has now spread to my chin and moustache this is very painful and depressing, regardless of companies claims aquamid has a high complication rate in other words everyone that has this starts to experience discomfort after the life shelf of this filler is done which is normally after 5-6 years most people start to see side effects after 7-8 years, i wish i had removed this stuff sooner before it migrated to my chin and moustache its unbelievable considering how little i had injected i only had one syringe i don't understand how it could have spread out and migrated and not even looked like it. the scary part is that one day you're perfectly fine the next day an absolute nightmare but u know what they say it gets worse before it gets better I'm trying to stay positive. I'm going to a hospital to have it drained out and after that I'm thinking of going to italy to have it removed by laser they have tried this out for many years its the most effective I already contacted them its $600 euro a session which is still cheaper than surgery

33 years old aquamid ruined my face and my life

Hi
i wanted to share my experience with aquamid with everyone in hopes of trying to prevent people from injecting this filler and in hopes of encouraging the ones that already have this filler to go get it removed!! go get it removed as much as you can and as fast as you can in experienced hands it is possible to remove majority of this filler.back to my story..
i had a very small amount of aquamid injectedon in my lips on trip to Australia about 8 years ago. i recently got married and became pregnant(4 months) i woke up a few days ago with my lips swollen feeling hot and itchy it was unbearable i rushed to the ER at first it didn't even occur to me that this was the results of the aquamid that i had injected because i had completed forgotten about it, after they ran a few tests they told me that this was the resault of a permanent filler i had injected and apparently this type of problem with permanent fillers is very common once you're hormones change.

a time in my life that was supposed to be a happy time has turned into a disaster I'm in physical and emotinal pain every single day. I'm going through a really bad depression due to a stupid mistake i made a long time ago. there is nothing i can do about this until after i give birth which mean i have another 5 months of dealing with this disasterous pain even so after that there isn't manny doctors or surgeons in US or Canada that have experience removing these types of fillers because they were never FDA approved to begin with.

if there is anyone that has had experience removing aquamid or bio-alcamid please let me know. this has caused me a tremendous deal of pain and agony i can't go on living like this i need to be able to focus on my baby and being a mom right now.
