1.5 Years Post-Op Lip Lift

About 1.5 years post! I am still so so so happy that I had this procedure done. I've never regretted it. The scar is very subtle (not invisible!) but it has never bothered me. I'll post a couple new before and after pics

Great results. Do you still feel stiffness. Also what is the name of your doctor, I think he did a beautiful job with an awesome stich line.

3 Week update!

Hello all. So I'm 3 weeks post op now and I am still very happy! My smile looks a little more normal now but it feels super tight. I feel like the part under my nose doesn't move when I smile so it feels/looks weird. But I've started massaging the scar, so hopefully that helps with the tightness and hardness.
The scar is a bit red but I know that will fade with time. Does anyone know if scar cream helps with the redness? Or is that someone that I just have to be patient with?

Absolutely gorgeous! Just a few millimeters make a fabulous difference!
You look great! And I think silicone-containing scar creams help with healing, so they should help with the redness. I’ve been using a silicone ointment since stitch removal and my scar is non detectable at this point (2 weeks post right now) with a bit of redness. For me at least, I think it’s helped.
Try lanolin for breastfeeding. Lansinoh has 99.999 % pure and there's no allergies to it. I use it on all my skin tightness and red spots
Looking good. I just started using silicone tape to my incisions. I'm just over three weeks also. My smile is also very tight. We will get there!
