I’m literally only a few hours post op. And I couldn’t be happier with the results so far!

Day 6, stitches have been removed. ZERO PAIN!
If only I knew this procedure existed from years ago, I would of done it years ago. It’s completely given me the confidence I used to have.
If you’re contemplating the procedure, please don’t. Go for it! It’s completely worth it. Do your research on doctors and find the one that suits you.

I’m 3 days post op.

I’m fine, I feel fantastic. My top lip looks great. I really hope it stays like this and the swelling has gone, but I’m pretty sure they’re still swollen.

I’ve experienced no pain, apart from a couple of hours of discomforting stings after procedure but overall I feel and look great and that’s the most important part for me.

I’ve taken no pain medication, I’ve only been applying antibiotic ointment on my sutures.

I take my sutures out on Wednesday! So I’ll update you all then.

My doctor is amazing. I know that the bullhorn lift is what is most common, this is not what I had. My doctor along with the amazing Dr Naomi have come up with a different lip lift surgery that actually works and looks great with minimal downtime.

My doctor was Dr Paul O’Keeffe and he’s retiring this year. He is amazing though.

We don’t have many surgeons in Australia that I see have the same experience as the ones in America or Europe even. Though I can safely and confidently say Dr Paul O’Keefe is phenomenal.

What’s happened to me is that over 10 years of injecting my lips and dissolving them 3 times, it has actually taken away my natural SMAS underneath my top lip. What this means is that everytime I was getting filler my top lip wasn’t supported to come out and lift anymore because my natural SMAS was dissolved along with the filler so dissolving your filler does permanent damage to your lips!!!

Hence why it was so important for me to get this procedure done. I hadn’t felt the same in a few years trying different products and dissolving them and not knowing that each time I dissolved my lips I was dissolving my natural SMAS at the same time.

My doctor is kind caring and amazing in every way! I did not feel no discomfort during the procedure which only took all up 60mins.
After now a few hours there’s some stinging pain, but bearable.
I’ll keep you all updated but I’m absolutely loving what I’m seeing!
