WORTH IT
Wanted to share a photo as I’m coming upon one year post so those can see my progress. As mentioned before, the results are above and beyond my expectations. I’m so happy to have found Dr Pearson who helped me achieve a better result and could finally close that chapter of dealing with that unsatisfactory scar from a previous different provider.

I see your lips look amazing. Did you get filler in them? That’s great that all is well. I can’t wait for my scar to heal. My body is still reacting to the foreign material from the suture. All would be fine if my body would stop reacting.
Thank you so much. Patience is definitely key when going through the different phases of healing.

Yo answer your question I did in fact have Restalyne Kyss placed in them. Juvederm aka move-Aderm migrates horribly in the Lips.
I had the filler placed before I had the scar revision done.
We did two separate appointments as I find the approach of it’s easier to add versus to go overboard and have to dissolve and start over. I had half a syringe placed in January of 2021 and another half placed in April of 2021. I haven’t needed a touch up since. I had the filler done at Snatched Beverly Hills. Normally, I shy away from med spas but their nurse injector Ani’s work was on point. I not only looked at all the before and afters but her approach to placing lip filler was extremely meticulous and educated. Best on your continued journey of healing.
Thank you for the reply…. Yes ma’am patience I have no choice but to be. What a game
Indeed all apart of the journey. Well worth it with the right caring provider.
Would you mind sharing who the first surgeon was? Looking to get a lip lift done and would like to avoid them. Thanks
Feel free to DM me to answer your question.
Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your f/u with us. BLESSINGS
You look beautiful! Congratulations! I just had a lip lift with fat injections. It’s hard to tell how the scar will turn out. It’s red now but I am only one month out. My question is, did you find that your nostrils changed? My family is asking me about that.
Very exciting hope your healing is going well. My nostril became slightly pinched in on the right side after my primary as there was to much tension on it. Hence the poor scar after. It’s nothing you can really see from the front more if you were to look worms eye view.
The scar revision didn’t affect it one way or another but I was more than fine with that as I was just happy to have the unsightly scar gone.

Beyond happy and like I mentioned prior I don’t even think about that problem anymore since Dr Pearson did a seamless job removing that previous unsatisfactory wide webbed scar.

Your lips are beautiful, the difference in your photos is great too. Thanks for sharing so in depth.
Absolutely my pleasure. Happy to share. Those who may experience either an unsatisfactory primary or are considering a lip lift for the first time should most definitely consult with Dr Pearson. He truly is an outstanding provider. Thankful for him and team.
Did you lose any length where he surgically revised the scar? I think I will need this under both nostrils when I am healed fully, but I also had too much taken out. I could stand to lose 1-2mm under the nose but NOT center- wish i could gain 2mm there..
My surgeon said if he revised the scar under my nose he would need to take close to 3mm. I think that's way too much to risk.
I had an overly aggressive primary by a different doctor, so I also was not in a position to have any more length taken without looking like a deformed rabbit. Luckily during consultation, Dr Pearson assured me I was a good candidate and it would not dramatically make the length shorter. We spoke about slight and I mean very minor hardly noticeable to the naked eye, asymmetries that could occur post but since all humans have them that wasn’t an issue for me. I also wasn’t interested in redoing both sides since under my left nostril that side healed normally.
He cut out the existing unsatisfactory scar and tucked the skin very delicately and seamlessly.
I would certainly get a second opinion if your considering a revision as this is a very niche and delicate procedure. I waited 4 years until I found Dr Pearson and again couldn’t be happier! Hope that helps :)
Thanks for that. Yeah, it sounds like he only needed to take probably 2mm max. to redo it.. Did it lift any portion of your vermillion border that you could tell? If so, was it the area just lateral to your cupids bow? Or was the cupids bow affected? Thanks so much. I'm really struggling and have spent a bunch of money on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th...etc opinions and nobody other than my surgeon even suggested that as an option (without extending the incision all the way up the outer edge of my nose) due to shorter scars potentially scarring worse and adding to the distortion.

Just wanted to share my 4 month post progress of my scar revision. I almost forgot because Dr Pearson did such an incredible job that I don’t spend any time of my day anymore worrying or being self conscious about the previous unsatisfactory webbed scar. Again, words can’t express my gratitude to Dr Pearson for his expertise in correcting the this.
