I’m still healing

I got my lip lift done in sept 2023 last year. I was so scared to get it done but I went ahead with it. Please be aware that you look so crazy post the surgery the lips are totally swollen!!! The recovery is not two weeks unless you are a unicorn it takes 3 whole months to look somewhat normal to leave your house. I’m now at 4 months and I still swell up in the morning but it goes down towards end of the day. I’m finding a little over projection of my lip and philtrim area which looks like I’ve had a bit of lip filler but it’s not that bad but I think it’s because I’m still healing. Another woman I know who got the procedure done was still healing at 5 months. I had anxiety when I saw everyone online saying it takes 2 weeks to heal cause that’s just not true. It takes 3 months and more healing time. Make sure you plan for being locked up for 3 months as the recovery was a lot longer than I expected.
