Lip lift girls. Any advice? I have a second consult scheduled for jan7. Looking forward to a cuter pout with more tooth show and a brighter smile with also more tooth show.

I had a liplift with Dr.Miguel Mascaro in Delray Beach, Florida a year ago and love my result. I was an out of town patient and it was pretty easy. Dr.M is known as the best doc for this procedure.

Yes because to get an appointment it’s like 18 months I wish I knew a great one in NYC! Some of the “best” ones charge like $8000

Longer to recover than I expected… and still can’t smile normal. Upper lip is hardened and hasn’t softened yet. It’s been 3 weeks

Wait 3 months for it to soften. But the tape moustache feeling is scar tissue . That will always be there unless you do some very precise massage to break up the scar tissue without pulling on your scar.

Get your pain meds BEFORE your surgery. Try to sleep upright in a recliner for the first week. Icy cold compresses around the outside of your face. Keep the scar out of the sun! Take arnica tablets (under tongue). They make it sound easy peasy. It’s not! Be prepared! Have soft easy foods in your fridge. (Apple sauce, soups, jello, pudding, mashed potatoes) You will do fine!

After looking at your pictures and your wish pics, I think it's very reasonable for you! Good luck! I did a lip lift over a year ago and I'm so happy I did it! My recovery was really easy because we were all wearing masks. It wasn't very uncomfortable. For some reason I didn't swell nearly as much as most people. Agree with taking Arnica. One of your wish pics was the same one I had as well as one of my wish pics! Keep us posted! It's such a cool procedure. I wish it was bing done years ago!

Surgery was today. I’m feeling tight and sore. I love how my lips look but they are very swollen along with my nose. Looking forward to steroid tomorrow to reduce swelling! I’m thankful for the opportunity to get this done and for the doctor. It was an experience having this done wide awake with local anesthesia I’ll tell ya! It went fine and well. But interesting. I’ll update more tomorrow. I am very happy with the amount of lift! From 1.5 to 0.9

What I wanna say so far is I wasn’t prepared for the pain. However, the hydrocodone says take one or two every six hours. I took one every so often yesterday. Pain was pretty bad. But this morning I chose to take 2 and the pain is considerably managed now. It just makes me tired and keep nodding off. So I won’t be able to take 2 and drive& I have a 3 hour drive home. But once there I’ll be taking 2 at a time.

I got to start my steroid today which I am so happy about because the swelling is a lot. I’m looking forward to the results! My nose is swollen because dr. anchors the lift on nose cartilage for more sturdy support. All in all I’m sure I will be cute ????
