Lip lift - today was the first day I attempted to put makeup on
Lip Lift and Makeup
Hi fellow lip lift patients! I had a lip lift three weeks ago and today was the first day I attempted to put makeup on. I had been using silicone gel so first I had to take this gel off, then apply the makeup. The incision area got red and on one side it was bleeding a tiny bit. Since I have not touched the area at all previously, besides letting soapy water run over it, there might have been something stuck under the silicone gel.
However, since I was already red and bleeding from barely touching it after three weeks, I left some of the dead white skin laying on top. I know this is dead skin and not a scab, as I said its white and I can tell it's mostly loose. I always produce new skin too fast and have always had to do face peels and lip peels.
I think it's just that I haven't been able to do this over the incision. However the makeup ended up looking terrible haha! Do any of you have issues with dead skin over the incision or applying makeup? I'm adding a photo of the incision with the makeup and dead skin
