Lip Lift - Loving It & Finally Look Like my Real Self

Six weeks ago, I opted to get half a syringe of filler to my top lip. I loved how my lips looked most about 2-4 weeks post surgery, and adding this tiny amount of filler really helped me get that dream look back.

In fact, she did not even use all of the half syringe. Super happy with the results! And still incredibly happy with my decision to get the lip lift. I don’t think had the surgeon excised more skin that it would’ve made a difference, I think it’s the filler specifically giving it that subdued puffy look that I like. So no regrets!

It’s been a year & I am incredibly happy with my results and decision to get a lip lift. I only wish I had done it sooner. Looking back on some photos of myself pre-surgery is astonishing. It’s incredible what a tiny tweak can do for the balance & harmony of the face.
Aside from the people that I told, no one has noticed or at the very least, nobody has said anything to me. And I do have the type of friends & family that would definitely say something if they suspected, lol.
It looks very natural and highlights the heart shape of my lips, which has always been one of my favorite features, it was tucked away!Like many patients, I do somewhat miss the look of my lips shortly after surgery when they were bit swollen and am considering getting 1/2 syringe of filler to my top lip only, to recreate that poutier look. If I do that, I of course will share on here.
The scar healed much better then I anticipated but it’s still more on the conspicuous side compared to others I’ve seen- and would be to any onlooker who is really studying right beneath my nose or knows what a lip lift is. However, it is easily covered w makeup and even w/o makeup, it doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. I know the risks of my type of scarring due to my skin type. In my opinion, it’s worth it- so if you’re on the fence, do it!
