Scars 9 month out aren’t attractive

The scars associated with surgery are expected however mine are noticeable more than I imagined. See pictures. I have been using scar gel nightly to no avail. It seems that now I must seek further expenses in the form of scar therapy. I will more than likely get a revision

Was this a skin-only lip lift? That can result in a poor scar.
whats a not skin only lip lift?
I have the exact same scars from my lip lift. One plastic surgeon told me it was because there was too much tension in the stitches. Who knows, I have a consultation for a scar revision coming up. If it helps at all, I think the lift suits your face really well and even though the scars are annoying, they’re probably only really noticeable to you.

I would recommend seeing a dermatologist who specializes in laser treatment for scars. I'm light skinned so not sure about all the specifics of how it works on different skin tones, but it has made a major difference in my scars. The hard part about scars is that is all depends on how the person heals. There is no guarantee of a thin hard to see scar.
Hey, your pictures 2 weeks post op hardly show a scar so when would you say your scar developed?

In love with my lips

I had a breast augmentation in conjunction with this lip lift. I wanted to be under during this procedure. Dr. Levens marked my lips the day before (see photos). Currently I'm two weeks post-op and I feel great and I absolutely love my lips. My nose was swollen the first week and I could not chew too much, but by week two the tightness eased up. The scar is not major and once it truly heals I'll be able to cover any scar easily with makeup.

I forget- I think 3 but I don't recall. The little amount he did remove has changed my face drastically in a positive way.
Hi, did you find your nostrils looked really wide after the procedure? I had mine yesterday and my nostrils look so wide and my nose looks like it has been pulled down. Feeling sad as I didn't expect this to be an issue.
Yes- my nose was swollen for about two weeks. I was nervous but I'm 6 weeks out and my nose is no longer swollen. I hope you love your results.
