So far, so good! I had my lip lift not to make my lips bigger but to show more teeth. They were not visible when I talked or slightly opened my mouth. Also, my smile was disappearing. Hoping this helps! :D

I’m on Post Op day 2 as I write this, and will attempt to update as best I can as I heal. The procedure itself was fairly quick. As others have said, the worst part was the numbing shots under the nose. I recommend coming mentally prepared for that. Deep yoga breaths helped me through it, as well as focusing on the final result. Once the procedure was done, the Dr handed me a mirror and I got to see the results before I got really swollen. Omigod! My mouth looked cute. And more youthful. I don’t know any other way to describe it. But I loved it. I left the Dr, drove myself home, and took 2 Tylenol when the local anesthesia wore off a few hours later. The pain was maybe a 3. It was more uncomfortable than anything. Pain meds were not needed. I’m on day 2 and I’m extremely swollen. It’s hard to eat, and I can’t yet smile. Despite this tho, I’m still very happy I did the procedure. I can’t wait for the swelling to go down so I can see my new smile.
