Three month and a week later. Overall very happy with the result. The scar is visible and I guess the natural curve I had before is gone. The incision still heals actively, it does feel a little tight/hard at certain places. A little redness is there and I will use sun blocker on the scar. I do notice that my nose runs more easily, meaning that any kind of moisture will run/drip down easier than before.

Just like to share how I have healed and how I look like. In the past 2 to three weeks the scar got much better. Last month I felt it being very tight and I grew a bit more conscious about it. Right now, I think it will look totally fine in the long run. Of course, if I squeeze my lips and stretch my upper lip, it’s very visible.
Regarding my lip shape, my upper lip is a bit fuller yet not very full compared to many others. More so it’s an improvement of my facial features in terms of balance. My lip sometimes looks really great and sometimes not that dramatically different to before. But the proportions are better. I do not regret this!
Fun fact: I can floss and clean my molars way better than before.

Perfect proportions, really wonderful result! You look great, you have a very classic look now! I commented on another review as well that with many lip lifts I see on realsefl, they turn out far too pouty for my taste because they often completely change the look of the face the person. I so much prefer results like yours, which are dramatic as well in the sense that your face looks so much more attractive now, but you are still recognizable as you. Congratulations!
Thank you so much for leaving such a positive reaction. You are very right, overall I do look very much myself. My child says that as well. And she is young enough to be very honest. But especially when I put skincare or lip stick on, I feel and see the newly gained extra lip vermillion. The white lip is definitively shorter and I still need to measure now how many mm my philtrum is now as the tissue has relaxed now (completely ?). Before I was almost 20mm. Truly, I consider myself lucky with my result. Even though I have seen many other beautiful and more radical results which I liked, too. Did you know that Lip lifts are part of feminization surgeries? It just creates a softer more feminine expression around the mouth, next to looking more youthful.
I have a feeling that encountering people, they are spontaneously looking less at my mouth. Could be that it had looked somewhat strange before when I talked and now my mouth is more in the normal range and therefore gets less attention? My complexes about my mouth are a thing of the past and that's really great.

Yes, completely makes sense, that feminization procedures include lip lifts, just as part of rejuvenation procedures. I would have never considered a lip lift because throughout my youth and into my early 40s, the lip length was completely in proportion with the rest of my face. But I'm now 46 and definitely have noticed my face aging faster in the last 2 years and as part of that my philtrum has lengthened. It really changed my look and has been incredibly aging and yes, I feel it makes the face look less feminine.

I just took some very spontaneous shots as honestly, by now I find my lip looks somewhat different each day. Based om my view, I’ve gotten the right philtrum length. Which my face rests a bit different, maybe more positive expression along the mouth (I hope).
