Great Experience with a Great Surgeon

Dr. Alemi is a great surgeon. I trust his aesthetic judgement and I'm very confident in his surgical skills. I am super pleased with my result and want to come back to him for future surgical procedures. The day of, he met with me and marked things out. My philtrum was 17mm and he said he would take about 3mm off. They took me back to the OR and got me on the table. The numbing injection was definitely worse than I anticipated, but once numb it was smooth sailing. You can feel some tugging and pulling during the procedure but there is no pain. I did have some swelling and bruising post op. My pain after the procedure was pretty low and was very well tolerated. I only needed Tylenol which I took around the clock for the first few days and that kept me very comfortable. There is some ongoing numbness and stiffness in the incision site, but that gets better every day and I expect it will go away completely over the next few weeks to months. My result is everything I wanted. It still looks like me, but more youthful and feminine and more balanced overall. The incision looks incredible and was barely perceptible even at 5 days out. He's a very talented surgeon and it helps that he's also just a nice human. He's funny, friendly, and very down to earth. All the staff members that I interacted with were also friendly and kind.
